The Double-Barrel Shotgun always looked kind of cartoony to me, and something about the stock looked particularly off, like it was overly straight, blocky and bloated. So I finally broke, and dragged the full stock into Outfit Studio do some quick and simple re-shaping.
I tried making the Full Stock more elegant and realistic, making it thinner, narrowing the mid-section, I reduced the "hook" on the lower end of the grip, I lowered the rear of the stock, and I made the butt plate thinner and a bit convex to look more ergonomic. Overall, I tried to give it a more elegant, less blocky feel.
All this is is a single loose model in a file structure, no plugin, no archive, no new textures, just a single model replacer. You can install or uninstall it at any point in your game. It is compatible with everything, including things such as retextures for the same stock. The only thing it would not be compatible with would be any mod that replaces the same model, or makes the shotgun use other models instead, or some such thing. If you think this looks better than the original, there is probably no reason to not use it on your every mod setup, as it does not take up space in your plugin load order, doesn't hit performance, etc.
