A sound effect replacer for the default cash register XP gain sound.

DESCRIPTION

Falling Bullet Casing Effect XP Sound Replacer is a mod designed to replace the default cash register sound heard upon gaining xp. This replacer will change the sound heard to that of a bullet casing falling to the ground.
This mod comes with an installer that allows a player a choice from eight slightly different sounds. There are four sounds of a large casing falling to the ground and four sounds of a small casing falling to the ground.

HOW TO USE THE MOD
The mod is a sound replacer and once installed will play for each instance a player gains XP, no further interaction is possible or required.

INSTALLATION
Firstly, make sure you have the correct .ini configuration to enable and allow the use of mods in Fallout 4.
This can be done by following these four easy steps:

  1. Open the Fallout4Custom.ini.

  2. At the bottom of the the text create a new section.
  
   [Archive]

  3. Under the new [Archive] section add the following two lines

    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=

  4. Save and close the Fallout4Custom.ini, the game is now ready to run mods.

With Nexus Mod Manager (NMM):
1. Download the mod by clicking "Download with manager".
2. Activate the mod in Nexus Mod Manager and use the installer to choose and install the the desired sound effect.

Manual installation:
1. Manually download the .zip file containing the mod.
2. Open the .zip using a file archiver.
3. Open Sound FX file and select the effect required.
4. Extract the sound file found inside into the Data folder (not in any subfolder) of your Fallout 4 installation.

UNINSTALLATION
This mod can be uninstalled using one of the two following methods.

With Nexus Mod Manager (NMM):
1. Deactivate the mod by double-clicking it.
2. Mark the deactived mod and uninstall or delete it.

Manual uninstallation:
1. Remove all files associated with the mod from your Data folder.

INCOMPATIBILITY
Incompatible with any other mod that changes the XP gained sound effect.

KNOWN ISSUES
None.
