So I never liked the fact that mines were just tossed in front of you a couple of feet in game. I understand how that would make sense since mines are traps and aren't used like grenades.
HOWEVER! This is a video game and I want to toss my mines at my enemies without anything holding me back. That is why I use, and will continue to use, Frisbee Mine by LilKandeeKid. I know it's an older mod and could be updated (something I might do later) but it makes mines much more viable in combat and not just there to sell anymore.
I used the edits Frisbee Mine used, did a bit of tweaking and Voila! You can now toss C4 down the street with reckless abandon and if anyone gets het with shrapnel, it's their own damn fault!
For those of you wondering how: Go into FO4Edit Look for the Projectile data for the throwables. Each throwable will have their own data (usually). Increase the Speed of the throwable. In this case, I increase the Speed from 200 to 2500. Speed increases the distance thrown. You can also mess with gravity but you'll probably want to keep it between 0.5 and 1.0. I don't know what happens beyond 1.0 but you can try if you want.
