Does anyone know how to get it to appear in the workbench to upgrade? I already have the necessary perks and i downloaded through the nexus mod manager.
This is my instant favorite armor of 2021, as someone who has been unsatisfied with the look of vanilla metal armor for the past few years. However, there are two tiny things I'd like to bring up. First, the fur collar is clipping through shoulder joint when MC is relaxed. This irks me tremendously. Second, the dragon decal on that breastplate is baked into the texture. I get that it's probably Arthur's unique armor, but perhaps we can have the option of switchable decal?
Constructive Criticism: The armor is way too thick. If you tried to wear it in real life, you wouldn't be able to move. If you can, just cut the thickness to appear to be 1/8 inch thick. I know that Bethesda thinks that thicker means more protection, but it really doesn't. Mobility in Medieval Plate Armor/Armor by conncork.(Youtube). and Obstacle Run in Armor, a short film by Daniel Jaquet. (Youtube). I like the idea of actual medieval armor in Fallout, but Bethesda has no concept of true protection. It's like they did no research at all.
I had considered this as well during the modelling stage. i wanted a good compromise between the concept art and what might be possible to wear, while also keeping in mind that this armor was not made through a refined process as it would have been done Pre-war. "Abit thrown together yet protective" was my thought process.
