By itself there is nothing wrong with the "Kid in a Fridge" quest, but the implementation of it leaves a lot to be desired. I have done some tweaks to the quest in order to make the experience much more enjoyable.

By itself there is nothing wrong with the "Kid in a Fridge" quest (it's actually very good), but the implementation of it leaves a lot to be desired. Here is what I have done in order to make the experience much more enjoyable.
I have shrunk the huge activation-box-zone near the refrigerator. By doing this players must walk really close to the fridge for the game to forcibly enter "Investigate the voice" quest into the Journal.
When/if the player get the quest "Investigate the voice" it's now possible when talking to the rude Zombie child to select the skill check option "Who are you?" and then follow up with "I'm not falling for that trick" to actually finish the quest and remove it from the Journal.
If at a later stage the Sole Survivor wants to do the quest "Kid in a Fridge" it's super easy to kick-start it again by walking up to the refrigerator and talk to the rude zombie child or simply shooting at the refrigerator door.
The mod is also made into a Pseudo ESL in order to not take up a mod slot.
