DESCRIPTION

Vanilla-friendly retexture of all object LOD resources in the base game and DLCs. Done with a combination of AI upscaling using various specialized models and scratch-made texture work. I wasn't really happy with the available LOD resources, so I decided to improve them myself. The clear goal was to fit as much detail into these textures as possible, while being mindful about object size/scale, and minimal atlas resolution. There are tons of resources to cover, so not everything is perfect yet. You can still expect a drastic improvement over the available LOD resources in all cases.

For now, only the diffuse maps are covered, with twice the resolution used in vanilla. I am still figuring out some cases where 4x the resolution might be necessary. My clear recommendation is to use 512x512px LOD resources for everything. This also makes sure that all Commonwealth and DLC output atlas resolutions stay at a reasonable 8K by 4K resolution.

Please use common sense to hide or remove certain resources from this mod, as your landscape retexture most likely includes LOD resources for objects like rocks. Otherwise you will revert those textures to vanilla. I might release a version sometime in the future that doesn't include resources that are often included in popular landscape retexture packs.

Lastly, I know that I don't use a very saturated weather mod and ENB to display the textures, so if you want more flashy screenshots feel free to post some yourself. I included some direct comparisons to vanilla and NeuraLOD to give a clear idea of what you can expect.

INSTALLATION

Using Vortex - overwrite if asked. Using MO2 - put it below other mods containing these textures (higher priority).
