I find it disappointing that the Wazer Wifle has the same legendary effect as the Prototype UP77 "Limitless Potential", a weapon that's of the same weapon type and can be obtained earlier in the game. I would assume laser rifles and pistols were originally different weapon types, which would explain why the two weapons ended up being the same. I decided to change its effect to the Powerful effect, as it fits Fallout 3's usual way of making unique weapons, as it's the only returning unique from FO3. I mostly made this as I couldn't find something else on the site that does something similar.
