About this mod

This is a collection of morale patches to use with the vests from Private Military Company (PMC) or PMC Extended.

Includes a bunch from Fallout lore, some from movies, music, games, tactical gear and weapons, etc. to add to player and companion characterization.

Permissions and credits
This mod is just a collection of additional morale patches you can use with PRIVATE MILITARY COMPANY and/or PRIVATE MILITARY COMPANY - EXTENDED.

PMC is such a high-quality and fun mod, it is an absolute staple for me, really adds to my enjoyment of this game. Over the years I have made bunch of custom patches here and there to use with the vest, to give some customization and personal style to my characters and companions. They are a meandering mix of lore stuff and things I thought were fun/funny/cool/appropriate, they were fun to make really. As I've been messing around with the game and some old mod ideas recently, I thought I'd share in case others might enjoy this too.

EvTital was gracious enough to say go for it, so huge thanks to them for the cooperation and for the amazing mod. I've also been using the patches in a backpack mod I'm working on and a PMC/Mercenary/Visible Weapons/vanilla stuff mashup that you can see in some of the screenshots. (Big thanks to DannySavage too, wherever he may be, for sharing the mod and some ideas a couple years back.)

The images tab contains index screenshots showing the patches available, since a lot of users may not be able to preview DDS files. (These indices are also in a subfolder where the texture files are.)

The idea is that these are available to you just to swap in for any of the patches in the original mod and/or in PMC Extended. That way you don't need an additional esp, and you can pick and choose what you want.

PMC provides loose texture files in: Fallout 4/Data/textures/Tital/PMC/Custom/Patch
and PMC Extended provides them in:"/Tital/PMC/Extended/Patches

This mod provides a new folder in the /Tital folder called "Patch Collection" with new dds files in it.

Take the ones you want to use, copy them into whichever folder you want (PMC original or Extended), and rename them to match the file names from that mod that you want to replace with these. You should MAKE A COPY OF THE ORIGINAL FILE FIRST, of course, so you can use it again when you want and in case you screw something up. Then in game, when you select that patch, it will use the texture you swapped in instead of the original. PMC Extended has a lot of patch options too, so you can use that as well and have a lot of choice for which ones you want to use.

EXAMPLE:

Say you like the black and white Fallout lore American flag, and want to swap it in for the American flag in the PMC mod:
1) Go to textures/Tital/PMC/Patch Collection, copy the file "Patch_d_XX-FO-US-BW.dds"
2) Go to .../Tital/PMC/Custom/Patch and paste it in there
3) Rename the current "Patch_d_1.dds" file to, say, "Patch_d_1-original.dds
4) Rename the file you just pasted in to "Patch_d_1.dds
5) Voila, the mod will now use the black and white Fallout American flag for Patch 1 - US

Make sense? E-Z-P-Z. You can do the same thing in the Extended folder. If this doesn't make sense please let me know. This is actually very easy if you stop and think about it.

And this is much preferable to making an esp-patch for those mod(s) to add in 100's of new patches to clog up your armor workbench menu, I promise.

Posts with feedback and questions are always welcome, I would love to hear your thoughts and ideas. I will entertain making more by request/clever suggestion as much as I can manage. And, I will also try to help show anyone who's interested how to make your own. (I use GIMP image editing software, which is great and free.) It is quite simple really, and kind of addictively fun in itself.

Hope you enjoy.
