Decontaminate your food with Radaway or even with other chems for real useful buffs!
Lead Belly perk is now Gourmet, with a lot of awesome features!

Brief Description :
This can be a quite massive overhaul or just a little feature.
Deco Food - With this option you can decontaminate PreWar food at the cooking station.
Deco Food All Rad - With this option all food are contaminated by default! Who said fire could remove radiations, seriously? Fortunately, if Radaway works on you, why not on the food too? You will need 1 Radaway to decontaminate 3 portions of food. But that's not all! Lead Belly perk is now Gourmet, a 6 level perk, and with each level you can decontaminate more complex food with other drugs for more interesting effects!
Also available a new sorting system for all ingestibles, and a ton of patches for various mods from the Nexus.
And cherry on the top of the cake, the main mod and all the patches are ESL flagged! So no space taken in your mod list at all!
Why:
With this mod I tried to make give back value to items that had none in the vanilla game.
Without this mod, the food is only useful in survival, and even in this case, it is not enough practical to be really useful.
With a long buff for most of it in addition to the original buffs, food has now a real purpose!
Radaway becomes very precious, which is kinda logical in a irradiated world.
Other drugs become more precious too, because you will use them more.
And with that, caps becomes very important too! Because you will need to buy all the chems you can from all the doctors you encounter!
The buffs are not made to make the game more easy, nor the rarity of drugs to hard, but it should really give back a real use for chems, money and food!
The buffs are in Real Time, not Game Time. I would have preferred to make them last 6h game time for better immersion but it seams rather impossible.
The Gourmet perk:
Lvl 0: You can only decontaminate Convenience Food or Beverages with Radaway. It will remove the radiation taken.
Lvl 1: You can decontaminate or cook clean Appetizers with Radaway. Clean Appetizers will give +50 carry weight for 1h30.
Lvl 2: You can decontaminate or cook clean Meats with Radaway and Buffouts. Clean Meats will give +50 max Health for 1h30. No risk of addiction.
Lvl 3: You can decontaminate or cook clean Soups with Radaway and RadX. Clean Soups will give +50 Rad Resist for 1h30.
Lvl 4: You can decontaminate or cook clean Omelettes with Radaway and MedX. Clean Omelettes will give +25% Damage Resist for 1h30. No risk of addiction.
Lvl 5: You can decontaminate or cook clean Pastries with Radaway and Psycho. Clean Pastries will give +25% Damage for 1h30. No risk of addiction.
Lvl 6: You take no radiation from eating or drinking, and clean Beverages and Convenience Food give +500% Poison Resistance for 1h30.
How to install:
With mod manager:
Really easy to install: Follow the instructions.
All your mods will be automatically detected for the patches.
Manual installation:
You can choose the .esp from the sorting or the non sorting file.The three DecoFood files (without AllRad) are for the Deco Food part, but they are also mandatory for the Deco Food All Rad part.
Install the main, the NukaWorld if you have it or the GOTY edition, and Mojave if you have Wasteland Imports.
You should recognize by the name all the files you need by their quite self explanatory names. Be careful though, Wastel is for Wastelander's Cooking, Wasteland import is Mojave. See patch list if you have any doubt.
Display folder is for display choices (see last images uploaded to make your choice. Default is "No capital letters brackets").
Safe to install mid-playthrough (created that way).
I don't recommend uninstallation mid-playthrough though. I don't know how the game will react deleating so many cooked goods. Best to return at a save before installing.
