A couple of very minor bug/oversight fixes were the focus of this release (see changelog). To round the release off I added some additional variations for the night vision activation sound effect, as the original was starting to become a bit too cheesy for me personally! You can choose which one you want to roll with during installation.
Speaking of installation, no fancy precautions are needed if you are updating from version 1.0.1. To be on the safe side, however, turn off night vision in-game (if you have it turned on) and save.
I would also like to apologize to those of you who have asked questions here over the past six or so months. I only recently got back into Fallout 4 after a hiatus and wasn't checking the Nexus during this time.
Thought it was a silly idea, since the PA already comes with a flashlight, but since it's been ages since I've used PA extensively, I forgot how obscene the flashlight can be. First turned it on, kicked myself for being close-minded, and then turned it off cuz my fusion core was low XD.
Great mod, does exactly as advertised, and as such, endorsed!
Sorry for the very belated reply; I was gone from the Nexus for a while. For future readers the distortion is a by-product of the mod using the vanilla game's night vision scope overlay/effect as a template. This was to keep the mod's night vision style consistent with the vanilla game. It can be removed by tinkering with the mod's Image Space Modifier records in FO4Edit.

i cant find it on nexus
Some situations the helmets white light is better and some the NVG.
Just like real world.
Awesome Mod!
I can only find MCM ver 1.39 am I looking in the wrong place or just have it installed improperly.
I have MCM 1.39 installed and can select a key to toggle night vision, but nothing happens.
Is it this mod or just me? How can I remove it?
The higher wnd the unit, the less of an edge blur.
gen 3+ NVGs have nearly none.
Gen 1 NVG has a lot.
I can live with this blur on the edges.
