The link error in NMM is just a typo on my part, but I'd have to re-upload the whole mod to fix it and with my upload speeds, it's not going to happen. It's not really a big deal so I'm just going to leave it.
The size of the mod is because the original songs are spliced to each of Travis's lines. There are hundreds of files.
So I'm using this mod with the MWTCF main mod 3.1 and I also downloaded the audio fix, but if anything the fix seems to make the songs incredibly quiet. I have my sound settings set so that the vanilla songs play at a reasonable volume, but when I get to one of the added songs they are very nearly inaudible.
I saw some previous comments about this several years ago, but so many people are saying it works fine now, so I don't really know what's going on tbh. If anything, the fix seems to make the songs even quieter than they would normally be.
Not really expecting a fix, just puttin this up there for anyone else who has the same thing going on
I'm being fairly confused by your mod page description, and I hope you can help me clarifying things.
1/ Your mod description says that it adds 36 songs (which you've listed under "Track list"). I see 38 xvm files in your archive, one of which I'm going to assume is a duplicate (since it's not used by Vanilla or the MWTCF mod) : mus_radio_diamond_dion_thewandererxxx.xwm Vanilla (and the MWTCF mod) references 37 songs. Could you please explain in which files the 36 new tracks appear ?
2/ Next your description says "without removing the original songs". Since your mod comes with no plugin, and the 37 xwm file names all match vanilla files, as far as I can tell your xwm files overwrite them. Could you please explain how that equates to your songs not overwriting the original/vanilla songs ? Did you add the new tracks at the end of the vanilla tracks ?
3/ your mod comes with 295 fuz files in the sound\voice\Fallout4.esm\NPCMTravisMiles\ folder. Are these restored vanilla files ? If yes, can I avoid installing them if I never installed the silent Travis fuz files of the "More Where That Came From" mod ? Or do they have new content specific to your mod ?
Your assistance would be appreciated, and thank you very much for sharing your mod with us.
The 295 voice files are Travis's radio lines. I've spliced the original songs directly to those. So every time he says "Here's Bob Crosby", the Bob Crosby song plays immediately after.
Then, when the game is done playing that audio file and goes to play the original vanilla song, I've replaced THAT file with a multi-song medley of several tracks spliced into one file.
The result is that the game thinks it's loading Travis's voice file, and then one song, but it's actually loading Travis+1song, and then 3songs.
If you don't apply the Travis voice files to your game, but do edit the radio songs, your radio will have Travis announce the wrong songs.
As for the exact song counts, idk man I made this 9 years ago lol
Hey, it wasn't meant to be a critic, just a genuine desire to understand how your mod works so that I could successfully integrate it with the other radio mods I'm using.
I wasn't sure what to do with the fuz files. They did seem a bit larger than what I expected, so I'm not surprised by what you did. I'll definitely have to keep them.
Thank you for the clarification, I appreciate it. Endorsed your mod, and merry holidays.
Can you share this back up? Seems MWTCF has been removed from the site and I would love to use this mod. If you are unable it's no biggie, thanks in advance either way.
Woo, almost 9 years old this mod, and still rockin' out in the fallout baby! :D LOOOVE a lot of the music in that era, so much spunk and charm! ♥
Still working as advertised, with the new Next-Gen Update, woohoo! \o/ (Steam, Manual Installs)
Once again, THANK YOU Elvani, for this hella sweet mod! Makes building so much less tedious when I can rock out to the fallout baby! And THANK YOU for all the time and work you put into all your mods, and their years of service! Still appreciating ya! \o/ ♥
Yes, you can install it on an existing save, though I've only ever used it in addition with the More Where That Came From mod (which is no longer on the Nexus for some reason) instead of by itself. I would recommend keeping a backup save of your current game just in case you had any issues after installing this mod.
You can send a PM do Oldmanmose76 and ask about his mod as AtomicWVGirl recommends. He may have moved it off Nexus to another mod site. His mod was a great addition to this one and fixed some issues with DJ Travis so, it's definitely worth getting. I have only added this mod on an existing save as I typically don't install 98% of mods until after I left the vault.
I love both of the DCR add-on mods. I've spent hours running around the commonwealth primarily to listen to the tunes.
I've been trying to find the songs on YouTube to make myself a playlist of them there. I've found two versions of Dean Martin's Lucky Old Sun, neither of which seem to match the version in this mod. Can you tell me from where your version of Lucky Old Sun came from?

Please do not reply to this sticked post.

I have MWTCF version 3.1 backed up in my drive, so I can use that if I must, BUT
Will this mod also restore Travis' lines from Diamond City Radio Extended?
Edit: i found this archive i hope it helps https://archive.org/details/mwtcf-classic-1.0-637-1-0
