Hi, I made some changes to the preset during my playthrough, and wanted to share the update for anyone interested. If you are returning, you should know that not much has changed, the preset is just a bit more refined now.
-Clip Ammo and Total Ammo counters are placed equally away from the line now. (Total ammo was closer to the line.) -Slightly bigger font size for subtitles, difficult to tell the difference at first glance, but helps with readability. -Made some minor position adjustments for some of the widgets.
Apologies for the late response. I'm walking down the isle soon, and the real life responsibilites have got the better of me. I've been away from gaming and Fallout 4. As for your question, this is the first time I'm seeing such a strange glitch. Does that happen only when you apply my preset, or does it also occur when you change your layout manually as well? For instance, when you change the font type for a widget from the default one to the "Creation Club" font? Do you still experience this visual glitch?
No problem man, life comes first. And congrats! I got married 4 years ago and its been great, wishing you guys the best. So yeah, looks like that's my problem. Idk why but I guess I'm just missing the Creation Club font for some reason. Weird. I used your preset for my last playthrough and it was fine. Idk why it's gone now. Guess I'll look into how to get that back.
Hey, I was also affected by this when updating FallUI HUD. Here's what it looks like on my end:
I'm unsure what exactly causes this, but downgrading Fall HUD back to version 1.4 seems to fix it. Probably not ideal to run an outdated version of that mod though.
Thanks Don looks like that was my issue as well. Unfortunately my item inventory icons aren't working in 1.4 tho. Guess I have to pick which I'd rather have.
Thank you very much for bringing this to my attention, I'll update the preset as soon as possible, and we will see if that solves the problem. Sorry for the trouble.
Nope. At this point I have lost count of how many mod authors say they're going to do an update and never do. If they don't want to update their stuff, fine, but don't make empty promises and leave the community hanging.
Can be you be less of a c*%!? You know people have irl lives, and they do this for free. And yet people like you always b&@*$ and moan. If it annoys you that much, learn to mod yourself.
To anyone with this issue, Advanced Animation Framework gets this error if you use an unsupported font, and I believe they haven't found a way around it for that mod yet. So I honestly doubt this'll be fixed by this mod author, just try other fonts. If that fails then I suppose maybe it's a different issue.
Amazing preset! Can't imagine going without anymore. I spend 90% time in power armor, which has yellow PipBoy UI, with white PipBoy UI outside of it, and this is a perfect mix of both. Love it. Thanks a lot
edit: Dunno if the rest of the FallUI modules will get preset functionality, so I looked up the amber color and used the closest RGB equivalent into the other modules (255,195,0). Oh boy, the damn Confirmation windows... who through it would be a good idea to set all ~20 different windows SEPARATELY? WTH who needs a different color for every action
This preset is amazing. It helps me see the popups that I usually miss in the top left so that's another positive lol. Thank you for taking the time to create this and uploading it for us to use!
I uninstalled my previous modded playthrough using this mod. Now I installed it again, but it looks like some of the colors of the UI are not changed like the ammo counter. I really love this pallet I just can't get it to work again.
