Grims Miscellaneous FO4 Mods & Graphic Presets
I have a lot of little niche mods that were spread out all over the place. I decided to take them all down, go through them, and then consolidate the ones I wanted to keep into a single mod page. I know this means less visibility but that isn't a concern for me at this point. They are all small mods anyhow and its easier to keep them all on a single page in regards to management.
They are provided mainly "as is" at this point as they are all working fine with the base game and I still use most of them myself. At some point I may add a read-me for each of them on install, uninstall, etc., but since no one seems to read the mod descriptions to begin with I decided to skip that for now. That being said many of them include notes or a read-me in the ZIP file that has some of this information.
I will give a brief outline of each below along with credit. For permissions none of the code or assets are to be used without asking first as some of them rely on other content I got permission for. Please ask before using in other words.
REQUIREMENTS:
Most work with base game (i.e. no DLC needed) although Freebooter requires Nuka World. Certain outfit options will require Super Hero Bodies (SHB), EVB, and/or BodySlide. Deacon has a vanilla version but his second version requires the mods Lots More Facial Hair and Lots More Hairstyles. The Grease Rat Garbs SHB conversion requires the original mod, which in turn may require DLC's.
UPDATE 2021-09-22: When I have time I will upload more images showing the mods with labels, as well as samples for the presets. In the mean time, for the graphic presets, see my Flickr Albums and go to the related FO album to see samples.
OUTFITS:
Barbarian Loincloth - Based of the Super Mutant loincloth. Male only. Made for EVB Males and Super Hero Bodies (SHB) but can work with vanilla. Base game only needed. EVB/SHB required for appropriate versions along with Body Slide if SHB.
Freebooter - Customized outfit based on Gage's outfit in Nuka World. NW obviously required. Comes with vanilla, EVB, and SHB versions along with an optional look. If you use the EVB or SHB versions then they are required, along with BodySlide if you wish to build them for SHB.
Grease Rat Garbs SHB Conversions - SHB conversions. You need the original Grease Rat Garbs mod for this. Thanks and credit to Tinuvia for the great outfits! See original mod page for requirements. SHB and Bodyslide required. Updated 2021-10-03 to v1.3.0 of GRG adding in 5 new outfits and 5 new backpacks. Also fixed Spanky Kova and A Hero (I hope). May still have some clipping in outfits - let me know if comments with an image if you see any bad ones.
Mac's Toy Soldier Necklace - You can craft and wear Mac's Toy Soldier around your neck. If you use the SHB version then SHB and BodySlide are required. The vanilla version works for male and female characters.
Private Dogmeat's Custom Armor - Vanilla game.
FOLLOWER MAKE-OVER:
Deacon's Make Over - A make-over for Deacon. A vanilla version and one that requires Lots More Hairstyles and Lots More Facial Hair for mods.
GRIM WOLF GRAPHIC PRESETS:
Note: Often there are notes in the downloads that may offer help on DOF, key mappings, etc. If you get stuck ask and be sure to indicate the actual preset you are asking about.
Brotherhood of Steel- ReShade only, requires the old ReShade version 1.1.X (files included in download). It will NOT work on the current version of ReShade so don't even try.
Institute ASD Brotherhood of Steel - ENB and ReShade. For ENB you can use the newest binary but requires the old ReShade version 1.1.X (files included in download). It will NOT work on the current version of ReShade so don't even try.
Lone Wanderer - This is a combination of my Institute ASD ENB preset with the Alone at Fallout ReShade preset by archidan85. They granted permission to use their files. You don't need to download there files but give them a shout out since half this preset is based on their code. requires the old ReShade version 1.1.X (files included in download). It will NOT work on the current version of ReShade so don't even try.
Railroad Classic - Original version by John Garrison on Flickr who gave me permission to share a version I made combining his ReShade with ENB code. For ENB you can use the newest binary but requires the old ReShade version 1.1.X (files included in download). It will NOT work on the current version of ReShade so don't even try.
Railroad Modern - Above version that was converted to a newer version of ReShade (I know it works with version 4.7 haven't tried with the most recent though ... in theory it should work with the most current version if you download the compatible older shaders) and the current version of ENB.
The Pack - IheartRunningman, from Nexus, made this ReShade for me based on his goal to recreate the Grim and Somber presets in Skyrim. I then took what he made and added in ENB settings and options. For ENB you can use the newest binary and in theory it should work okay on the newest version of ReShade if you download compatible shaders. I have been using it with version 4.X of ReShade.
