Yeah I actually replaced my mod with that one in my load order. When I made this we didn't have cool tools like that yet. I think they'd be "compatible" if you load mine after it, but there's really no reason to keep it if you want that mod. They're more redundant than incompatible
Awesome mod, its become an essential part of my load order, Can I make a request? Sometimes, Enemies have power armor I would like to add to my collection, So, Stealing the fusion core will make the enemy exit the power armor, and if you have the mod "Power armor collection system" (awesome mod too, btw) you can just pick up the power armor without being detected, But, all the power armor pieces and frame will still be flagged as stolen, is there a way to remove the flag for each peace if you enter the power armor? just a thought, Can't enter the power armor without pissing off your companions or every settler for 50 miles, so unless you pick up the power armor in mod PAC system, and only enter it when your by yourself, the power armor becomes useless, unless you give it to Cait, of course, (she'll steal anything in front of whoever...lol)
Just a request, No obligation Ziezue Thanks for this great mod either way.
I completely understand your frustration. I think Power Armor Ownership Fix (No More Stealing) may be able to help you. I have not personally tested it yet, but it's in my planned load order for a build I'm making
As the base chance is cranked down by "mitigating" circumstances there is no reason whatsoever for a 90% cap. Hell, there's no reason for a 100% cap or any cap. The unsuspecting and credulous can be scammed, can be rolled, can be dipped. The suspicious make it much, much harder. This cap business is Bethie, my personal term for "It Just Works" lazy programming!
It was working as of a couple of months ago when I played for a bit, but I guess I cannot attest to now. Nothing should have changed though. Are you sure your skill is high enough? It doesn't guarantee 100% pickpocketing. It merely allows for it if skills permit. If you're sure, go ahead and try a simple reinstall of the mod. If you've done that and you're certain your character should be able to 100% it, I'll dust off the old FO4 and give it a go. Obviously I'm assuming you don't have any conflicting pickpocket mods
I would prefer a 95% and a 98/99% chance version, if possible. Not only am I used to that in my modded Skyrim, but sometimes I want to roleplay being able to be caught, and live with the consequences... without it being extremely unimmersive when that happens a whopping ten percent of the time.
Sorry for the late reply. I'd thought discussion of my mods was dead, but actually I've had a few requests apparently. If you're still interested, I'm sure I could make this happen for you. I'd just have to figure it out again cause it's been a few years since I touched the tool.
I know I'm way late here in responding, but if you still need it, I could look into it. I've never tried before. I don't see why I couldn't since this mod doesn't use any new assets.
Thanks! I too noticed that people never really dealt with this. I made a similar thing for Skyrim, but I assume a public mod exists for that by now. I wouldn't know as I haven't checked in years.
The cap is lame because ofc you are just going to savescum or run and try again but isnt it legitimetly bypassable using the PAX and/or Mind Cloud syringe?
I suppose it could, but that is sloppy and requires extra effort. Not to mention that unless you are cheating, if you pickpocket enough you might run out of them. This is just cleaner at least in my opinion.
