If I just ue optional "Another Pine Forest Trees Only" file, will it replace all the default trees in the game, or will it add extras, which will take up more space in the map? Because I'm going to use mods that add new locations to explore like: "Boston Emergency Services Mod", so I wanted to know.
Trees only means it adds only the trees from the mod.. Not the grass, plants, rocks, ground textures etc etc that the original version adds. This would have been extremely easy to test for yourself. As soon as you loaded "Trees Only" you would have seen hundreds of extra pine trees not present in vanilla game. I seen this comment days ago and expected you might figure it out yourself.
The thing about using mods, you really should learn some basic things or it isn't going to be much fun at all.
Sadly, however, it seems to conflict with *something/s* in my modlist load-order causing consistent crashes when approaching, fast-travelling, entering, or coc-ing to "Sunshine Tidings Co-op" (of all places).
When using this mod, distant trees in Far Harbor appear to be using some kind of scrap texture (blue, rusted metal, and white). Is this due to the issue KennedyMadelt brought up with the LOD files being miss-named?
Edit: Here what it looks like. https://imgur.com/3wdaqDf
Unfortunately placing APFM at the bottom of my load order doesn't work. I think the only mod that could be overwriting the LOD files is possibly Far: area reform. or perhaps boston fps fix, as thats the only mod that has conflicts with your mod. I will continue to investigate and try to discover the source.
you could probably leave the ba2 packed for better performance (and less chance of that bug where LOD texture does not transition into HD texture and is still blurry up close) and just extract 3 files with B.A.E
Textures\Terrain\DLC03FarHarbor\Objects\DLC03FarHarborObjects.dds And the ..._N.dds ..._S.dds of the same name.
This has been reported by some users. but they or I are unsure why? My theory is that, the archives (textures and LOD) is active but the esp is not active somehow. if you use vortex I have no idea about that mod manager so cant help but maybe google can.
OR, its something to do with game version and in the "Header" section of the mod, using xedit, the version needs to be changed. I cant help for every individual case, so its good to try learn a bit of this stuff if you can
When I have this mod loaded I am unable to scrap tons of objects at sanctuary. When using this, objects and plants that are normally able to be scrapped cannot be, and they become scrap-able again when disabling this mod.
***I figured it out, I had to load this above Horizon and it's architect plugins
I love this mod! It is the best tree and flora mod by far imo, great work!
yes its listed in bugs (I think) in this mod and A Forest.
Those tree types never had lod in vanilla game but I did create it for the mods. whenever I update the mods I will redo the LODs to include them with the correct file path.
Absoulutely LOVE this mod, used to use regrowth, then Forest but I like this one the best. One question...I saw in the description that you said 'changed weather type in Nuka DLC...' I run NAC X weather mod....will there be any future issues when I get to nuka world?
nah all it does is changes nuka to default, so you will get same weather types there as in the commonwealth. whatever nac weathers adds to commonwealth should be there in nuka too

Magnifique
Meshes\LOD\Landscape\Trees\BlastedFungalForestTreeLarge01_LOD_0.nif
should be
Meshes\LOD\Landscape\Trees\BlastedForestFungalTreeLarge01_LOD_0.nif
The other variants, small and medium, have "BlastedFungalForest" instead of "BlastedForestFungal".
I've already fixed this for myself. Just making others aware.

*Edit, not listed here, only in A Forest.
