  • This "Extended" version focus to controller play.
  • Almost rifles and SMGs are supported.
  • Cover Action, Binoculars, Proper Aiming, and more function are implemented.



Installation

If you are upgrading from Tactical Action Extension Package (original version), you should do following command at console.

cqf tooun_animationpack_q upgrade

I tried to remodel

tooun says OK to modify and redistribute it, so I modified the script to make it easier for me to use.
It seems that it is almost impossible to operate simultaneous pressing with a controller, so I packed various functions into one key.



Setting method

Read the key settings carefully before preparing the controller environment.
Then open MCM, configure it.
Some functions are configurable via console only, see console command.
Also you can check my settings.



Combination Key

Sprint/Sneak/Dodge Key

  • When it is stationary, it will switch sneak.
  • If you move while pulling out the sword, it will dodge in that direction. (Front dodge is also possible)
  • If you push it while pulling out the sword and in the air or immediately after landing, it will cancel the rigidity of the landing and dodge forward.
  • When you are lying down, you stand up. (Release sneak)
  • Stop the cover during the cover action. (Release sneak)
  • Press while sliding to cancel lying on your back.
  • If you push it while running forward, it will become a sprint.

Sliding/LayDown/CoverAction Key


  • If you are sprinting, it will slide.
  • If you press it while pulling out the sword and in the air or immediately after landing, it will cancel the rigidity of landing and slide.
  • If you press it while sliding, it will move to cover action if you are equipped with a compatible weapon.
  • If you are stationary while pulling out the sword
    • If you are equipped with a compatible weapon, lie down and lie down.
    • If you don't have a compatible weapon, take a cover action.
  • If you are moving left or right or backward while pulling out the sword
    • If you are equipped with a compatible weapon, you will lie on your back.
    • If you don't have a compatible weapon, do nothing.

Hybrid Key

Sneak/Dodge Key

It is basically the same as the Sprint/Sneak/Dodge key above.
However,  Sprint has removed, so easy to front dodge.

Sprint/Sneak Key

It is basically the same as the Sprint/Sneak/Dodge key above.
This key works without dodge.

Dodge/Sliding Key

You may dodge or slide anyway.
If you are moving forward, you will slide.
If you are not moving, you will dodge forward.
This key works a little faster.



One Action Key

Fast One Action Key

Some function has been removed. So those key are more faster.
They are some problem.
Ex: If you press it in dialogue, but player will action anyway.

Temporary FPS Key

  • Hold block key.
  • Press Temporary FPS key.
  • Game will go to FPS mode.
  • Game will return to TPS mode when you release block key.



Others

  • Organized the script.
  • Since the original is processing the keyboard premise with a fixed key setting, I excluded it.
  • Eliminate trace log warnings as much as possible.
  • It seems that the position of the HUD is not saved, so I saved it.
  • The message "This equipment cannot be removed" is no longer displayed even when standing up from the prone position.



List of operation methods by function

Sneak

Press the Dodge key while stationary.

Sliding

Press the sliding key while sprinting.
If you press the sliding key while you are in the air with the sword removed, the landing rigidity will be canceled and you will slide.

Dive

Press the sliding key while moving forward.
When equipped with a compatible weapon, it will move to prone after the dive.
Pressing the sneak key during the dive cancels the transition to prone.

Dodge

Press the Dodge key while moving with the sword removed.
If you press the Dodge key while you are in the air with the sword removed, the landing rigidity will be canceled and you will dodge. The front dodge is fixed.

Prone

With the corresponding weapon equipped and the sword pulled out, press the sliding key while still.

Supine

With the corresponding weapon equipped and the sword pulled out, press the sliding key while descending back.

Cover action

With the sword pulled out without the corresponding weapon equipped, press the sliding key while still.



Details of each function

Lie down (on your back)

While lying down, you will be in the upper position of the sneak.

Camera shake is greatly reduced.

Movement speed is reduced by 80%.
Perhaps it was the setting on the animation side, I felt that the movement speed was too fast and it was strange.
It will start up if you move during reloading.
The animation is separate for the upper body and the lower body, but if you keep it lying down, the upper body is reloading, but the lower body rolls around and the body is twisted.

The accuracy of the enemy is greatly reduced.

Dodge

There are two types of animation, a normal version (rolling) and a boost version (step movement like teleportation), but the boost version feels unnatural, so I only use the normal version.

Consume 20 APs.
You can get it even if you don't have enough AP.

Damage taken in close proximity to firearms is reduced by 90% during dodge.
It has a small recast time and cannot be issued continuously.

Sliding (dive)

You are ghost during slide, so you can avoid all of damage.
Enemies will be pushed away from you.

You can select animation type in MCM.

Normal - Normal animation. (Slow)
Fast - Fast animation.
More Fast - More fast animation. Tactical Action Extension Package Extended Tweaks is required. You need hkx files only. Do not need any script files.

Cover action

What you are doing is almost the same as Take Cover.
It just activates the player the cover action for NPCs originally provided in vanilla.
It is supposed to be used together with Custom Camera.
The position of the camera determines the orientation of the cover.
Can also be used when looking into from a high place.
The accuracy of the enemy is reduced.

Sneak

The accuracy of the enemy is reduced.


Alternative favorite hotkeys

By setting alternative favorites keys, you can use it as a substitute for your favorite keys.
If you press this key, the process will be based on F4SE, and although the operation is slow.
The process of releasing the prone will be appropriate, so you can switch weapons correctly.
Also you can swap weapons keeping prone/supine position if weapon is supported.

If you press this key again, they are other functions.

If you are using melee weapon, you will switch to unarmed.
This function is stable.

If you are using ranged weapon, you will switch firing mode. (automatic and semi-auto)

Binoculars

Press the binoculars key to equip and pull out the PreWar Binoculars if you have them.

You can prone with binoculars.

You can also switch weapon and binoculars while prone position.
Press the binoculars key again to switch to the recent weapon.



Adjusting the sneak function

The sneak performance has been significantly modified to give a change to the prone.
Performance increases in the order of standing, crouching, and lying down.
Crouching is very weak because the prone is equivalent to a vanilla sneak.



Automatic aiming adjustment

Apply the settings equivalent to Proper Aiming in Skyrim.



Auto expand/collapse Bipod

You can specify bipod mode in MCM.

Disable - Bipod never be expanded/collapsed.
Quick - Bipod will be expand/collapse anyway. this mode is little faster.
Restrict - Bipod will be expanded/collapsed if bipod is already attached.

Camera Tweaks / Custom Camera

You can specify camera profile during prone/supine/cover action.

How to customize.

1. Open Camera Tweaks (Custom Camera) MCM.
2. Go to Profile page.
3. Check current profile number. This is regular profile. (ex. profile 1)
4. Open TAEPE MCM.
5. Go to Functions page.
6. Set profile number. (ex. prone=3, supine=3, cover action=4)
7. You may now prone. You must equip XM2010, RU556, Vector or something weapon you patched.
8. Open Camera Tweaks (Custom Camera) MCM, go to Profile page.
9. Check current profile number. It should be 3. If not, something wrong.
10. Customize camera settings.
11. If you are using Custom Camera, do not forget to save profile or you lost current settings when you leave from prone.
12. Do it again for cover action. Have a fun.



FPS mode

All animation will go to third person mode, then back to first person mode.
Because all animations are made for TPS.
If play animation in FPS, body goes to invisible.

Each alternate favorite hotkey remember last FPS/TPS mode.

Do not install TAEP and TAEPE both.

FAQ

Can I prone/supine with vanilla weapons?

Yes, almost rifle are supported.

Weapon must have following keyword.

WeaponTypeSniper - become a XM2010.
WeaponTypeRifle - become a RU556.
WeaponTypeAssaultRifle - become a RU556.
WeaponTypeCombatRifle - become a RU556. (Horizon is required)
WeaponTypeSMG - become a Kriss Vector. (Horizon is required)

Pistols and big guns are not supported.


When prone/supine weapons point upwards

Install required 3 weapon mods. (XM2010/RU556/Kriss Vector)

If not, weapon animation does not supported.
No way to fix it.

Can I use action in FPS?

No, animation will works in TPS only.



After that

I keep making adjustments while playing.
I also want to make NPCs face down.
