--Arcjet Overlook--
Medium size custom settlement on the overlook behind Arcjet Systems. It is located about halfway between Grey Gardens and Sunshine Tidings co-op. All normal settlement functions should be working.
--Settlement Functions--
The following have been tested and confirmed working:
Settler recruitment with beacon
Supply lines
Settler assignment from other locations
Happiness - please ensure you have 50% happiness when you first activate settlement. If not, the mod did not activate correctly.
I did not mess with any vanilla spawn triggers in the area, but the insects at the warehouse should not respawn once cleared.
--Scrapping--
I use Scrap Everything and by default everything was scrapable except for four items. I've added recipes for three items to make them scrapable:
Lamp on top of blue generator
The two large shell generators
The small square bases at the bottom of the industrial beams.
There's also a blue generator with a fusion cell that is not scrapable. I did not want to touch that one so left it alone. If you are on PC, you can remove the blue generator by opening the command window, clicking on the generator, then typing in DISABLE and hit enter.
--Mod Editing Details--
For those interested in editing the mod for their own tastes, all the forms I added to the mod should start with the name ArcjetOverlook. The five main wilderness cells of the mod are renamed as well. I think their was a 6th cell that this might extend slightly into a corner of that I did not name as I did some moving around of the build zones. Sandboxing zone if larger than the settlement so should be good. I did not hardcode any build limit. If there are problems in the future with that I can add one.
--Compatibility/Conflicts--
I believe this should be compatible with Arcjet Exterior Settlement at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexus mods.com) as the build areas don't seem to overlap. There might be a single shared cell. If you have any issue just try swapping the load order.
I think this is probably compatible with Sim Settlements, but I do not have the mod and have not tested it.
Also tested with Settlement Management Software V2 - For Rename AnyThing at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) and it works great. I assume it will also work with the original version at Settlement Management Software at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
--Permissions--
I welcome help in editing this mod. I tried to make an ESL but haven't had luck yet. If anyone has the knowhow, please feel free.
If someone wants to upload this to Bethesda.net for xbox/playstation users please feel free, just give me credit. I won't be able to provide troubleshooting support for those platforms though. I'd prefer this to not be uploaded to other sites, but if sometime in the distant future Nexus isn't around anymore or some other circumstance demands it, then it is fine.
Also I plan to support this mod, but if for some reason I disappear and am no longer maintaining it, feel free to make the needed adjustments to fix it.
--Thanks/Credits--
Thanks to EL HA / Zorkaz for the settlement tutorial Tutorial - Creating Custom Settlements at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com)
This was my primary resource document and it was invaluable. I had made a settlement years ago but someone else has to fix it, so felt good to complete this one on my own.
I also found Fallout 4 Custom Settlement Tutorial at Fallout 4 Nexus - Mods and community (nexusmods.com) to have some useful info to fill in some missing knowledge gaps for placing the map marker and multiple build zones.
