Let's face it, some of us like melee, no matter what game we're playing.  It's ridiculous that I would want to attack an enemy, who is shooting a real live gun at my face, using anything but blatantly superior firepower.  The good news is, Fallout isn't real life, and I can take a couple bullets to get up close and personal with the raiders or supermutants or, god help them, the Gunners. This is beside the point, but I really don't like the Gunners. What they did in Quincy is enough to trigger my inner paladin, but when you go there, the one guy is wearing a Minuteman hat. Instead of his power armor helmet. I mean, what a douche. So fuck that guy, and every Gunner in the game.

Ahem, sorry, got off topic there. This mod is GET MEDIEVAL II - GET MEDIEVALER because I'm a buffoon and like to name stuff like I'm directing Sharknado. What we have here are six new melee weapons: A comically large broadsword, a quarterstaff, two maces, one of which is a very recognizable morgenstern or Morning Star, a scythe, and a Dane axe, which might also be known as a bearded axe or, rather dubiously, a Viking axe. The axe, scythe, and staff are two-handers, of course, but the rest are one-hand.

All of the weapons can be made at the Chem Bench if you have the max Blacksmith perk, except for the quarterstaff. For that, you'll need Big Leagues level 3. I figure to make a quality quarterstaff, you should probably know a thing or two about melee combat. I gated the recipes behind level 29 (Blacksmith 3) because they are kind of overpowered. Not game-breaking (I don't think), especially if you play on harder difficulties, but they are badass medieval weaponry, they tend to fuck people up.
