Elegant and compact mod that fixes a couple glaring oversights in the vanilla game. Solid offering from this first time mod author. Don't forget to endorse and smash the Vote button if you like.

Great work, all except for Android Component. I'll probably just change it back to Synth Component when I start playing Fallout 4 again.

    Thanks for your mod!

You should be able to just uncheck the Android Component file itself and then be good to go

@herocreeper1257 Sure, but "Synth Component" is still more appropriate.

I'm not making an argument about what they were called previously; I simply like the other naming choices here better than the ones in 4.

Actually whiskeyjack, forgive me for saying so but you ARE making an argument by saying synth component is more appropriate. But in fact both terms exist in Fallout 4 and FO4 breaks it's own lore by calling it a synth component, because it is actually an android component. How? Well, think about it. The difference between an android and a synth, in game lore, is that androids are (supposedly) the earlier (version 1 & 2) electro-mechanical built artifical humans, whereas "synths" are version 3 and not built but grown. But note that even within the Institute some still prefered the term android for version 3 too. And the "synth component" concerned is an electro-mechanical built device, not synthetically grown, and thus "synth component" is (using the game lore's own reasoning) a contradiction in terms. No part of a true "synth" can be a built component. Basically, all this synth nonsense is one of FO4's many unnecessary screw-ups, especially considering its supposed immersion in 1950s' style - for robot & android are more 1950s' lingo. FO4 made many pointless and/or incorrect nomenclature changes from FO3/FNV.
