Metal Gear PMC Patches
I'm a big fan of both the Metal Gear franchise and EvTital's Private Military Company outfit. I was surprised given the outfit's patch system that there weren't more Metal Gear inspired logos, given the games are chock full of PMCs and special forces groups. Tired of waiting, I decided to make one myself!
This mod contains the following unit patches/flags:
- FOX
- FOXHOUND (MGS1 and Classic)
- Outer Heaven (MGSV and Classic)
- Outer Haven
- Diamond Dogs
- Militaires Sans Frontières (Crest and Flag)
- XOF
- Zanzibar Land
- Sons of Liberty

Each icon was processed and edited to look more like a physical patch or badge. Some patches may look bland or scuffed, but for several, like the "Big Five" PMCs, they just don't really have vibrant icons in the first place. Others, like the Metal Gear Rising ones, have very little to go off of, or in the case of World Marshall, almost nothing. I took some liberties with the coloration for World Marshal based on in-game screenshots as I haven't played Rising yet, but if someone has a better and more accurate logo for them I'd be happy to correct it.
Requirements
This mod comes in two versions:
- The normal version only requires EvTital's Private Military Company mod.
- The extended version requires both the original PMC mod and Private Military Company Extended. It is the same as the normal file, except it replaces the recipe for PMC Extended's XOF flag so that it points to this mod's patch. It changes nothing else and is completely optional, it just gets rid of the duplicate. The original XOF patch from PMC Extended is preserved so if you have it on one of your outfits already, it will still appear without issues.
