OVERVIEW:
This mod is a new DLC-like open world (similar to that of Far Harbor and Nuka World) that is set in the tropical country of Costa Rica.
The goal of this mod is to allow you as the player explore and experience a country outside the United States, and how the aftermath of the Great War could have effected it while also not completely destroying it.

This mod adds a lot of new content, while also keeping it as vanilla and lore friendly as possible.
Some big parts of this mod are -


  • 🛠️Settlements.  While traveling down the winding roads you may just stumble upon a perfect spot nestled in the jungle that while, definitely could use a little work, would make a great home away from home.
  • 📻Radio.  This mod comes with its own radio station that plays a total of 9 songs; all unique and ranging from famous Costa Rican songs, to Spanish versions of classic Fallout songs.
  • ☠️Pirates.  The raiders of the rich coast, making and exporting drugs all over the country, and robbing locals of their land to build up their camps and expand their gangs.  While definitely more advanced than old fashioned pirates who sailed the Caribbean, they still carry a craving for murder and riches.
  • 🐒Wildlife.  While Costa Rica was a great place for tourists to sight-see the extraordinary creatures living amongst its jungles and beaches, 200 years after intense nuclear warfare those same creatures may now just want to rip you apart and leave you for dead.  Good luck.
  • ⚔️Combat.  Unlike typical Fallout games taking place in the USA, here guns are few and far between.  And while it may sound like a piece of cake to fight off enemies wielding machetes and pipe revolvers, once your barrel is empty, get ready to be creative as ammunition is not so common in this part of the world.
  • 🧭Exploration.  There is a lot to explore in this breath-taking world, with the map being comprised of:  Jungles, beaches, volcanos, mountains, rivers, waterfalls, Pirate camps, abandon structures, inhabited towns and farms, beautiful terrain and much more.




MANUAL DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS:
  •  Once downloaded, open the "fallout CostaRica.zip" file from your downloads folder
  •  Move the contents of the zip folder into your Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data
  •  (click yes to replace files in destination if prompt appears)
  •  Open your mod manager, navigate to your plugins and activate the "F4CR.esp"
