Lmao, as I was looking through the pictures, I was aboutta say "Looks pretty good" but then saw the nazi flag. No problem with it being in the photo, just thought it was funny.
Hi , does this enb heavy hitting the performance or it's not that much ? Finding enb and I think I like this enb but I dont know if this enb is heavy or not
For my rig (highish-end), it was about 3-6 fps loss generally after setting Detailed Shadow and SSAO to low, and turning dof off. I would still highly recommend it because of the amazibg visuals it brings, definetly worth the performance hit.
@Deadblot2 Thanks for your help earlier and your feedback, by the way.
@toxicskennedy I'm not one to really be concerned with the technicalities of performance, however, FPS loss and performance impact is there (around 5-7fps loss for me.) The PRC ENB is fairly light, and the real heavy hitter would be the Reshade; albeit, the Reshade itself doesn't drop the FPS by much. I run ~30 FPS at center of downtown Boston, and that's including all the HD textures I'm running. Reshade also has a performance mode, but I'm not sure how effective that feature may be.
I don't know how that competes with today's technology, neither yours, but I believe my rig is on the high-end spectrum? Anyway, on average I run around 45fps when roaming the commonwealth. Also, my FPS records have been measured with a slew of performance hitting mods: high resolution textures, environmental mods that enhance the world, and various heavy scripts to name a few.
Reshade's performance mode only compiles the shaders attuned to your specific preset, and has no noticeable effect on fps iirc, it helps startup times. Surprisely, I'm able to average around 90 fps roaming the more barren parts of the commonwealth and manage a shaky 45-50 fps with this preset in urban areas. Azebal, your setup is perfect to run the game with no enb at a steady 60, or a 30-45 with this level of enb as you said. I myself have a 6700K and a 3060 Ti, so take that as you will lol
I'm sorry but, PRC is not in any way a fairly light ENB. And running around with 30-40 FPS is going to feel very sluggish. I'd maybe look into using Shadow Booster, and PhyOP textures as a baseline, and then tweaking the ENB until you can get a stable 60 FPS with your 1080TI.
This particular ENB preset uses the "PRC Camera Preset - Clean Light" preset, which advertises itself as "A clean, natural & performance friendly look." —L00.
I also mentioned that I was using HD textures. (Perhaps I should specify that most of these textures are 2K, and atop of the textures, I was/still am running heavy scripts that impact performance.) In any case, the PRC preset—being the lightest preset from the rest of the PRC series—should not drop your FPS more than 5~7FPS. Like I mentioned before: the Reshade will take most of the toll on your performance, but not by much.
No worries. Just add the one you've created when making this preset to the files and we're golden ;) I'm looking forward to see this preset in its full glory!
Yes... I must've missed the part with the whole reshade thing.
Apparently I had a hiccup with the whole thing and the "Reshade.ini" at subject was really an .ini named New01, which has all the custom configurations; although, I'm not too sure because I'm still new to Reshade.
If by config you mean reshade.ini, then I will need some time to play with the settings; although I am happy with how it looks despite not having any custom configuration.
I agree with it looking good without further configuration. Perhaps you could comment, which effects you have enabled in your game, so we can get a similar result until you decide to update the preset on here altogether ;)

I thought it was forbidden
I ask why I wanted to share my presets for a long time but I was afraid XD

Edit: Seems like the INI is a default config. There are no effects that have been configured?
