I read online that their is a purpose to lowered weapons in the game, stating that when you stand close to something and your weapon drops, that means that you are in cover, making you harder to hit. So making a mod like this that disables that notification borks a common game play mechanic.
Jarin is right the cover mechanic in this game is ify at best have the time i die it says im in cover and that "supposedly" they shot me through 2 foot thick concrete walls. At least this gives that animation a real purpose
