Description
This mimics and adds player damage sounds and effects (when you take damage) from CODWM.

Does your character feel like a brick wall when hit by bullets? Do you dislike the overly subtle and almost unoticeable damage effects when you take damage? Say no more, this mod makes it so that your player flinches upon taking damage, accompanied with suitable screen effects for better immersion and intensity during combat.

  • Camera shake upon taking damage.
  • Red screen flashes upon taking damage
  • Added player bullet impact sounds from MW
  • Added bullet whiz, cracks and ricochet sounds from MW

Adds only player receiving damage sound, so should be compatible with Tooun's hit sounds/kill tips mod if you use that.

Install
  • Place at the bottom of load order.
  • Load included patches as required.

Compatibility
This mod edits the vanilla race entries directly. It will be incompatible with any mods that touches vanilla race entries. Load at the end of the load order, and use the provided patches. Patching for you own mods should be extremely simple using FO4edit.
Load order IS IMPORTANT! Load at the end of your load order to avoid this mod being overwritten.

Suggested load order (including patches, in increasing priority)

  • MWHitFx
  • MWHitFx - LMCC
  • MWHitFx - Race Customizer
  • MWHitFx - UniqueNPCs
  • MWHitFx - Horizon

Bugs
  • Depending on your ENB configuration, getting hit can result in an overly bright flash - use the reduced flash brightness esp version
  • Alternatively, if you know your way around FO4edit/CK, you can reduce the brightness multiplier in the GetHit ImageSpace
