Introduction:

It always baffles me that every time I kill Captain Wes, nothing happens. He was commander of the biggest mercenary group in the Commonwealth, but no one seems to care, not even his ruthless minions. The Gunners who are supposed to be highly militarized and organize, ruthless mercenaries known for their no prisoner mind set, does not give any shit if their top ranking officer is killed by some Vault Dweller. Well... not anymore.

One thing I miss about FO3 and FNV are consequences. In FO3 if your character has good karma, Talon Company Mercs will come after you. If you have bad karma the Regulators will hunt you down. Even the Abolitionist will send hit squads after the player, if the player chose to enslave people and sell them to Paradise Falls. I don't even have to explain what hit squads are in FNV because they are a part of the story line. 





Gunner Hit Squad:

Mod's pretty simple, you attack Gunner's Plaza and kill Captain Wes, the Gunners will not take it likely, and will send Hit Squads after you. This will make the game a little more challenging and add a bit of consequence to a players action. Hit squads will randomly appear any where in the map, and will be a little tougher than your average Gunner.  Hot spots are bridges, intersections, and open roads so be on a lookout every time you pass these areas. They will start to appear exactly three days after Captain Wes has been killed, and once encountered will relentlessly pursue the player, until they are all killed, or the player has been killed. They can be easily identified by the custom paint scheme on their combat armors.



Gunner Combat Armor Paint Job:

After killing Capt. West the Gunner Combat Armor Paint Job will also be available at the armor work bench.

Gunner Outfit Pack Patch Version 1.1: Updated patch, now includes 10 outfits and headgear.

Update Installation:
Simply uninstall old version and install updated version, will work with existing save files.

Alternative Patch For Capt. West: Patch for players that have already killed Capt. West in their play through. Adds a note that will trigger the quest/script for the Gunner Hit Squads, the note can be found not in the office of Capt. West but in the locked room located at the Gunners Plaza rooftop (see screenshots in photo section). The Gunner Combat Armor Paint Job will also be available after reading the note. I've chosen this location because alot of mods are already using the office.

Update Installation:
Only use this patch if your 100% certain that you have killed Capt. West. It will still work if you haven't, it'll just be weird reading a note about his death then seeing him in his office chilling drinking his afternoon coffee, but of course it's up to you.

Update Installation: Simply download and install, will work with any existing saves. For users of the Private Contract patch, just make sure that the esl plugin of this patch is loaded below the Private Contract Patch. Will not work with the Winterized Gunner Outfit Pack Patch, choose one or the other.

Gunner Hit Squad Classic Combat Armor Patch: Equips hit squads with the Classic Combat Armor

Update Installation: Simply download and install, will work with any existing saves. For users of the Private Contract patch, just make sure that the esl plugin of this patch is loaded below the Private Contract Patch.



Main File: Minor tweaks on the AI package of the Hit Squads, removed combat alert and improved aggressiveness of the Hit Squads.

Update Installation: Uninstall previous version and install this. Will work with existing save files.


Private Contract - Talon Company Mercenaries Patch: Removed HK G3 Family as requirement.

Update Installation:  Uninstall previous version and install this. Will work with existing save files.
