    hi guys

    IMPORTANT NOTE :

    When you want to use any booster, it's always better to try it alone and see the result, then if you want, try it in combination with another one and see again, until you are satisfied with the result .

    So, do not add a new booster to another one (already installed) before trying it alone first .

    Good luck, and have fun .

    Sorry guys but i will delete troll posts, advertisement posts, and posts that attacks other mods . Let's be constructive and help each other .

    imp note : you may need to change the number of the 9s to control the flickering if you have it , it's not fix for every pc. the basic is 6*9s . 8 was nessessary for me .

    hey guys, i uploaded an optional weather file for very weak pcs, to avoid the fps drops caused by some types of weathers like the foggy, misty, misty rainy... etc

    have fun all.

    If anyone is experiencing  no shadows at all ingame , u should revert ur settings back to default values.
    Mod author's recommended ini tweaks straightup remove most shadows.
    If you want to have smooth shadows as depicted in op's screenshots only 2 settings matter in your fallout4Prefs.ini:

    uiOrthoShadowFilter=3
    uiShadowFilter=3

    Both these values should be set to 3 to achieve non blocky/smooth shadows.
    Every other setting could be tweaked to your preference.

    These are my ini settings incase anyone wants to copy paste them

    flocalShadowMapHalveEveryXUnit=750.0000
    focusShadowMapDoubleEveryXUnit=450.0000
    fShadowBiasScale=1.0000
    fDirShadowDistance=2500.0000
    fShadowDistance=2500.0000
    uiOrthoShadowFilter=3
    uiShadowFilter=3
    iShadowMapResolution=1024

    iDirShadowSplits=2

    iMaxFocusShadowsDialogue=4
    iMaxFocusShadows=1
    bForceIgnoreSmoothness=1
    fBlendSplitDirShadow=0.000

    bSinglePassDirShadow=1

      This made a huge difference for me, both visually and my frame rate shot up!
      Thanks!

      I do hope your comment pinned. Also for everyone using this mod, Follow this instead AND if you're BOTHERED by the shadow transition (medium detail on near and low on far) edit also fBlendSplitDirShadow and set it to 1024 (a good value)

      To revert it to default you can just open the game launcher and select a graphics preset (low, medium, high, ultra) and the ini files will be rewriten, just dont forget to uncheck the "read only"

      This fixed any and all issues I had with my obscenely modded Diamond City. You're a life saver.

    i have a fcking rtx2080ti and a ryzen7 3700 (1440p!!!) and getting still in places like coverga under 60fps its so freaking annoying and i tried so many things already (i dont want to go under ultra textures/ shadows are already way under medium)

      is this a joke comment? 2080ti is okay to run on 1080p on ultra. 1440p in most of the games with 2080ti are 60-70fps and lower. F4 is poorly optimized game. it's completely understandable performance. do your research.

      Some places like Corvega and the entrance of Goodneighbor are just disgusting. They are just like that. The textures are so so so poorly optimized and the amount of small objects around them is so big, that the game's engine just can't run them right no matter what. There are 4 places like that in the whole game, i think. You won't walk around them much, tho. It sucks, but... welp

      My guess is you're probably using an ENB. Never use a non-lightweight ENB (most of the ones on the Nexus are definitely not lightweight).

      And if you're not, you don't need things like Godrays unless you're planning to spend a ton of time under trees. There's also tons of mods that remove insignificant objects and the like. Experiment. Figure out what works best. Use multiple options if you have to.

      Fallout 4 and the Creation Engine in general doesn't handle mods very well when it comes to optimization. This isn't No Man's Sky.

      i know this might be too late, shadow distance are the culprit, turn it to medium, its normalsince bethesda make large scale city for game of the year title right, thats why fps easily dropped

      Your specs do not matter when the game is horribly optimized

    i have a nvidia geforce gtx 1070

    fallout 4 flags itself for ultra graphics

    i have very frequent fps drops and snags where the game goes from 60 down to 1 and then back to 60.

    will this mod fix that problem or would lowering my graphics settings work better?

      disabling ipresentinvertal should resolve it, but you will need a 3rd party app to cap your fps (or if your gpu software have that option), or else lockpicking will be pretty broken and your main menu will be pretty laggy
