If you discover a weapon that doesn't get its sight(s) patched by this and you feel that it should, please post the mod name and version and I will look into why.
Much respect to this mod but If you were seeking NO FOV ZOOM when aiming guns with no scope this is not it.
To remove FOV zoom from non scoped guns: Using FO4Edit you will find ZOOM records Change the ones with zoom set to 0 to .999999 For gun mods check the WEAPON record for ZOOM type
If you need help ask If you don't use FO4Edit, well, you have my sympathy
Thank you for sharing this. I am trying to do the opposite of what this mod does. Instead of removing the fov zoom on non-scoped guns, I am trying to add in fov zoom to modded non scoped guns! Many weapons on the Nexus do not feature the vanilla FOV zoom, which makes them stand out as "different" when using them in-game. I'm going crazy trying to figure out how to add it in, but I'm not sure which values to change.
Here is a screenshot of the vanilla ZOOM. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
ADD A ZOOM SETTING TO WEAPON WZMD - ZOOM right click this field and select ADD add the default zoom ZM-DEFAULT [ZOOM:0004B246] Test you weapon
CREATE A NEW ZOOM SETTING AND ADD TO SELECT WEAPONS New records must be created in the category in an esp or esl First we add the category to an esp or esl ---Right click ZM_Default [ZOOM:f4b246] record and select copy as override into... ---Double click the ESP you will keep the new zoom setting in (or make a new esp) You have added the ZOOM category (and one zoom record to a mod) You need the category but can remove the ZM_Default [ZOOM:f4b246] now if you like

I see standard sights do not have zoom multiplier. The mod does not change standard sights. I get zoom when I aim standard sights. I believe aim animation has a default zoom and recon sights or scopes have a zoom multiplier. I do not know how to stop aim zoom for standard sights.
I was planning on making a more hardcore mod setup and pondering removing sight zoom, and I was dreading doing it manually. This is a clever solution that will save myself and other realism-chasers a lot of time.
If you mean the effect of the camera FOV changing slightly when sprinting, I don't think that can be changed unfortunately. At higher base FOV values it's not quite as noticeable so you could try that if you haven't already. To do that, while in game you can test what value suits you the best by opening the console and entering the command (make sure to press enter after typing it to execute the command, change 90 to whatever FOV you want to test): fov 90 This will affect your 1st person, 3rd person and Pip Boy zoom in real time so you can find a value that works for you. To save that value, you would change the following in Fallout4.ini under the [Display] heading, this example sets it to 90 so just change that to what you'd like (only copy/paste the info before the parenthesis; or if the line is already there, just change its current value): [Display] fDefault1stPersonFOV=90 (sets the 1st person and Pipboy FOV to 90) fDefaultWorldFOV=90 (sets the 3rd person FOV to 90)
For the sake of compartibility I have to stick with quite low fov values. Since I play on a ultrawide monitor, I can't ignore the FOV change anymore. xD
Not sure I understand what you're looking for. Are there specific weapon mods you've downloaded that have an overly aggressive zoom and you just want those toned down while not touching the vanilla/FH/NW sights? If you open the RemoveSightZoom.esp in FO4edit you can see the original ZoomDataFOVMult values beside the patches value of 1.0 for each OMOD. Let me know then and I'll see if I can accommodate what you're looking for.

Whould you have a look at the weird "zoom due sprinting" thing?
fov 90
This will affect your 1st person, 3rd person and Pip Boy zoom in real time so you can find a value that works for you. To save that value, you would change the following in Fallout4.ini under the [Display] heading, this example sets it to 90 so just change that to what you'd like (only copy/paste the info before the parenthesis; or if the line is already there, just change its current value):
[Display]
fDefault1stPersonFOV=90 (sets the 1st person and Pipboy FOV to 90)
fDefaultWorldFOV=90 (sets the 3rd person FOV to 90)
Hope that's of some help to you.

I use FOV Slider.
I'm totaly shure the "issue" has a proper solution. ^^
Is vanilla non-scope zoom like 1.25? I actually like a small zoom, would it be easy to patch it to vanilla values?
