Crafted in the chem station under [TONFA]
The tonfa is a traditional Okinawan Karate weapon consisting of a thick rod with a perpendicular handle, usually used in pairs. I've included 5 different kinds.
None of these have any mods, but they can be made early in the game, and they look cool (I hope). The highest damage (aluminum tonfa) is on par, damage-wise, with an un-modified wooden baseball bat.
