** I don't' use BLD and know nothing about it.  Any support would have to come from audiodef.

Hi. When I forming sorter patch I get 136 errors like this

Exception: TagIdent "smut" have no entry in tag set "FIS". | While processing ARMO record DLC03_Armor_EriksonOutfit (Form-ID: 0302E026 ) Name: "Super Mutant Bearskin Outfit"

I have these both with SM and RO
Should I ignore them or am I missing something?

You haven't installed my Enchancements II mod which is a requirement.  Read and follow the PDF installation instruction in the Enhancements II mod and the other one at RO.  The ECO installer is slightly different now but quite close.  Verify all is installed as it should be.   Oh, and the installation PDF is linked in the "Pre-Installation" section on the main page of this mod.

Additionally, the smut/[SuperMutant] tags only appear in 4est CIS Enchancements.ini which is build into CS but does need to be activated, and in SuperMutantRedux.ini which is in this mod.  Did you activate my Enhancements mod in CS?  It's covered in the PDF.

      Sorry for the confusion.

Ah, thanks, now all good. Didn't notice Enchancements as hard requirement.

If it's a hard requirement, please add it as one on the nexus mod info. Opening the requirements expando on the description tab shows the original SMR as the only required mod. I was looking through the posts for anyone mentioning this exact issue, because according to nexus, I have all the requirements installed, so I had no idea what was "broken".

Complex Sorter users should also get my Enhancements II mod or they will have TagIdents not found when making an output file.  Those who don't use complex sorter can still run the mod.  It just won't have the icons or names as I envisioned them.

If you are having mod issues it is almost guaranteed to NOT be from omitting my Enhancements mod.  It is best to run at least the R88 INNR or the ECO INNR near the bottom of your load order though.

Random question, do I deactivate the regular redux but keep this one active or do I just keep them both active but load this mod after the original redux?

I installed this after the original but Vortex still has the Missing Masters message. Can i just ignore it?

Does it say what master is missing?  If it says AWKCR, then my mod is either not active or not installed after the old SMR.

Does this change the balance of the original mod at all? I remember super mutants being super tanky, which made fighting them a bit of a slog.

I don't really change the Muties levels.

      Try this on your game.

AI Edit and Complex Sorter NPC Scaling - Get a crippled limbs version so the Muties can either get knocked to a knee or drop a weapon.  The old "crippled limbs" mod is also an option.
4estGimp - No Crippled Limbs for Companions - Lets your companions still use crippled limbs so they don't drop weapons.
      Deadeye - Headshot mod
Direct Hit - Makes shot placement more important

Currently having a problem with Sim Settlements 2's Super Mutants' neck bits missing.

In the original Super Mutant Redux mod's comments someone said something about this being fixable via FO4Edit, but I'm way too dumb to figure out how to make the suggested fix.

All the info I had was:

"Note for future users that are getting a bug in a Sim Settlements 2 quest where they are missing the back part of their head. You can
manually add it to them by going in FO4 Edit and
adding SuperMutantHead_Rear01_Vanilla to the added Super Mutant races
    head parts."

...I don't know if you or someone else feel like making a patch, but if someone did, that'd be wonderful! c:

Complex Sorter is not required.  It's really best to run the R88 INNR or the ECO INNR at bottom of your load order though.

Hey 4estGimp, thanks for the mod.  When I select the option for SuperMutantRedux_Insanity.esp to be installed that file still claims it needs AWKCR.

I assume this won't work with "Institute Centaurs" and "Capital Wasteland Centaurs" (non-replacers)?

Will this mod be compatible with the HD DLC version by replacing the non awkcr .esp?

in the event that it is not possible, can I use SMR SD with HD DLC?

Bethesda's HD DLC is a bloated joke.  Nobody should use it.  SaverenX even made 1K textures which are identical Bethesda 4K.  I highly recommend you get a full texture pack like Luxor's HD which cover's everything or the MM Aesthetics pack which is just amazing.

SMR HD version had some issue that I don't remember.  That's going back a few years and I don't have a note for it.  You are welcome to try though.

So do you recommend downloading a hd texture mod along with the SD version of SMR?

      Absolutely.
I've been loving MM Aesthetics as my main texture source.  It runs better if combined into the Vanilla 15 ba2 Textures files using BiRaitBec's Workbase method.  (for those who are familiar with it)

      The easy eye-candy option:
Luxor's Fallout 4 HD Overhaul is a direct replacement for the 15 Vanilla ba2 texture files.  You would want to put the vanilla files into a BACKUP folder though.  These look great but require a little more horsepower.

Thanks for your answers, I was looking at the two mods you recommended and I decided on the Luxor one that looks pretty good. Very grateful for your suggestion, you made my game 80 GB lighter.

Hi, I just wanted to confirm that this mod is 100% compatible with both versions, SD and HD. the only difference between them (SM Redux) is the textures.ba2 file, and within it, only some textures (facegeometry...) that are different, depending on whether you use the HD DLC or not.
      Everything else is the same.
So.. this "no-awkcr mod" only has one 'esp' file (no meshes, no textures), and it's 100% compatible with either version as well.
I mention it just to provide a little info about this, in case someone is interested.
if you have enough vram and can afford it, you can use it with the HD version as well. I have not seen any problem after several hours of play.
