Custom Race Headwear Refits - REDUX

This version will remain available for anyone that may want to use the old/non-Redux version of the races.

If you use the REDUX version of the Selachii Race but still want to have headgear support for the other races this mod covers and the new one does not at the moment (e.g. JAVELIN, Lupine, Vulpine), head over to the new mod's description and read the "Notes" section for info on how to use both at the same time.

Custom Race Headwear Refits

Description:

This mod adds custom nonhuman race support to vanilla headwear items in the shape of custom-fit meshes for each race.

Currently supported races: Anthro Deathclaw Race, PROJECT JAVELIN - Cyber Jackal Race, Lupines - Wolf Race, Selachii - Shark Race, Vulpine Race.

Includes a compatibility patch for Furry Fallout 4.

REQUIREMENTS:

Notes:


--- This patch edits the vanilla item records to add the new custom-fit ArmorAddons and tweak some slot data, so this mod is incompatible with any other plugins that edit the same records. Make sure to place this mod's main plugin after any other mod that may edit those records.

\--> Item and slot data is forwarded from Armor and Clothing Overhaul (ACO), and thus ACO is strongly recommended for use alongside this mod even if it's not required. The only changes that couldn't be carried forward are ACO's custom "item visibility" modification slots, as those would have required a hard dependency on ACO.

--- Refit quality is... not great, as the vanilla assets weren't exactly hi-poly and were never meant to fit on anything other than human faces in the first place. These won't be perfect but should at least remove all clipping and weirdness so as to make the items properly "playable" for the custom races.

--- The main/base plugin doesn't actually require any of the custom race mods, but using it without any of them makes no sense.

--- All plugins in this mod are ESL-tagged ESPs, so as to not take up valuable ESP/ESM plugin slots.

--- The changes to the ArmorAddons in the base plugin applied by each race's sub-plugin can be merged back into it on the user's end using xEdit in order to save plugin slots.

--- An AWKCR-compatible version of the main plugin made by Kantorock is available here: Custom Race Headwear Refits - AWKCR Plugin Replacer. Mod removed for now with no ETA for the new release.
