keyNuker - by lyravega
Keys will no longer be shown in the inventory, but instead you will see a keyring.
------------------------
-----Manual Install-----
------------------------
Nexus Mod Manager is recommended...
-Copy "keyNuker_xx.esp" (required)
".\"
This file goes to your "...\Fallout 4\Data\" folder. Grab the one for your language.
-Copy "PipboyMenu.swf" (required)
".\keyNuker\Required\Default" OR ".\keyNuker\Required\Override\xxx\"
This file comes in two versions; if you are using a mod under the override folder, grab the latter, otherwise grab the former.
It goes to your "...\Fallout 4\Data\Interface\" folder.
-Copy "Pipboy_InvPage.swf" (required)
".\keyNuker\Required\Default" OR ".\keyNuker\Required\Override\xxx\"
Same as above; if you are using a mod under the override folder, grab the latter, otherwise grab the former.
It goes to your "...\Fallout 4\Data\Interface\" folder.
-Copy "HUDMenu.swf" (optional)
".\keyNuker\Optional\Default" OR ".\keyNuker\Optional\Override\xxx\"
Same as above; If you are using a mod under the override folder, grab the latter, otherwise grab the former.
It goes to the same folder as above, to your "...\Fallout 4\Data\Interface\" folder.
If there is a conflict for this file, you may ignore this. Installed or not, keys will be invisible in the inventory.
-Edit "Fallout4.ini" (required)
"...\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini"
Find the line where it starts with "sResourceDataDirsFinal=" and add ", INTERFACE\" at the end of it, with the comma but without the quotes.
-Edit "Fallout4Prefs.ini" (required, if you haven't)
"...\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4Prefs.ini"
Find the line where it says "[Launcher]", and add "bEnableFileSelection=1" under it, in a newline, without the quotes.
-Enable "keyNuker" plug-in (required)
Run the launcher (not the game directly), and click around the left eye of the power armor; there is a hidden button there.
In the opened list, make sure "keyNuker" is enabled. You can now launch your game!
---------------------------
-----Troubleshooting-----
---------------------------
If you can still see the keys in your inventory:
-Firstly make sure that the "keyNuker" plug-in is at the top of the list.
-Make sure that the required "PipboyMenu.swf" is located at where it should be, under "...\Fallout 4\Data\Interface\" folder.
-Make sure you've edited the "...\My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4.ini" file correctly.
If nothing works, poke me on Nexus!
