Looks like the installer does not work for NMM community. Deactivate from all profiles and then open the NMM's Mods folder from the folder drop-down on the top. Find the .7z of Guns and Explosives and open it (you're going to need 7zip if you don't already have it). Delete fomod and all but the esp you want to use and the Nuka patch if you need it, see the readme for more info on the esp files. Activate the Mod through NMM and it should work now. If you just want to use the 100% at rank 5 version, then you can download the esp and patch from the old files and skip the installer. The esp are the same.

Pretty good just what I was looking for.
Does clash with no lvl requirement on perks mod  on the gun skills but I can live with that. 5 points on any gun skill early game was OP anyway.

First off love the mod, was exactly what I was looking for.

I have run into one issue however. Despite having the appropriate level of Gunslinger I am unable to add the Advanced receiver to a Western Revolver. Saying I lack the requirement.

This very well could be a conflict on my end as I'm using, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/32926 as well.

Thanks again for the fantastic mod, cheers.

Glad you're enjoying the mod! So I took a look at the western revolver and the issue you're having is due to Double Action Revolver, the Double Action Receivers require their own crafting recipe to craft. I've uploaded a patch under optional files for this. If the issue is with the vanilla receivers, make sure you have the Nuka Patch installed.

I wanted to swing by and thank you sincerely for the the patch you created regarding the issue I experienced. I had resolved myself to not being able to use that other Mod as I wasn't giving yours up.

That being said however, you may want to take a look at https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/50505 as it is in the same boat. Not being able to craft certain items due to being linked to perks. Already a very popular Mod and I'd hate to have it dissuade people from using this mod. Again I've just resolved myself to not being able to use those weapon parts.

Just a heads up mind you. I know its not your "fault" and may be a terror to take on a patch for it.

Once again thank you very much for both the Mod and the Patch.

If you installed the mod on a previous save, make sure you open the console (~` key) and remove the perks that you already have by using player.removeperk "perk id here". The perk ids can be found online. Then use player.addperk "perk id" to add them back. That should fix your problem. Make sure to remove them one at a time starting with the higher rank first, and add them back starting with the lower rank

Edit. Remove the mod. Remove the perks. Save and exit. Add the mod. Add the perks

I really like this approach, though would it be possible to make a nerfed version? 100% more damage to everything is intense, 30% would be pretty good

I was toying around with the idea of making a nerfed one myself. I'll let you know when it's uploaded

Done, redownload the main file as it now has an installer. Don't forget to use console to remove and add the perks if you already have a save with the original release
