This City plan converts Red Rocket truck stop into a bustling salvage settlement. It is an entry for the settlement plan building contest and my first settlement release. I tend to build with function in mind over aesthetics, but I'm happy with some of the set pieces.

Version 1
Release
This City plan converts Red Rocket truck stop into a bustling salvage settlement. It is an entry for the settlement plan building contest and my first settlement release. I tend to build with function in mind over aesthetics, but I'm happy with some of the set pieces. The settlement makes a good early game base and the addition of a communications plot allows it to utilize salvage beacons.
At it's final level it has room for 16 settlers. No requirements other than Sim Settlements 2.
Features
A bus is added to the roadside of the settlement and functions as both a barricade and a player home that grows over time.
Two entrances to the roof of the Red Rocket which settlers can and do utilize.
Limited fencing around the settlement, and instead, focus on making an interesting environment for attack and defense scenarios.
A large section set aside for players to expand (optional).
Lots of idle markers and a patrol route added.
Stage 0
2 interior garden plots
Power plot
Water plot
2 defense plots
Building material collection plot
Stage 1
Caravan plot
Interior garden plot
Stage 2
Defense plot
Junk collection plot
Stage 3
Communications plot.
Known issues or things to consider:
The weapon workbench in the garage and tires can be scrapped (the city plan doesn't seem to remember I scrapped them).
I did not add a recreation plot to the settlement due to hitting the contest build limit. There's plenty of space to add one if you wish, but it isn't needed.
