Are you tired of all your Minutemen forces looking like cowboys and starving settlers with weapons held together with duct tape and made from scrap pieces?
I know *I* was!
This Fallout game gave me the chance to build an army, and I wanted a damned army.
I made this mod to shape up the Minutemen. Teach them uniformity, and military discipline. Make them in to a *real* fighting force that's capable of defending the Commonwealth against all enemies, foreign and domestic.
...Sooo I swapped out all the minutemen's outfits for Ronnie Shaw's outfit. That way, at least the Minutemen have a uniform to take pride in instead of old worn dusters and settler's rags.
All Minutemen should be wearing a military cap and military fatigues as their outfit after this mod. Military Fatigues are a pretty versatile piece of clothing which you can attach armor to, and looks pretty distinctive in a firefight when everyone on your side is wearing it, so you can decorate them up in whatever armor you like as well with console commands.

Installation:
Just use Nexus Mod Manager or whatever other mod manager of your choosing, or extract the .esp file to your Fallout 4 Data directory and enable it.

Down the line, I might update it to a version which has all Minutemen wielding Combat Rifles instead of ugly looking pipe guns and whatnot, to give them even more of a sense of military uniformity. Way down the line, I might even add versions with combat armor as well. We'll see.
This mod also works really well with Brotherhood Fire team Support and Supply, with all Minuteman options:

Anyone can do whatever they want with this mod, but if it blows up your save game or whatever I take no responsibility for it. It was made with FO4Edit and just swaps out the outfits of the Minutemen for Ronnie Shaw's outfit and nothing more, so it really shouldn't do anything wrong to my knowledge. I slapped it together in a couple hours because I wanted more immersion with playing that the Minutemen became an actual force to be reckoned with and not just wasteland cowboys.
