    Hello,

    Your description reads :
    Spoiler:
    Show
Sim Settlements 2 Addon Packs Used

1/ Vault-Tec Tools 2 by Samutz and Wulfharth (pretty much required)

    Also uses plots from :
    2/ IDEK's Logistics Station 2
    3/ Pra's Random Addon 2
    4/ Tech Settlements
    5/ Wasteland Venturers for SS2
    6/ Tiny Living
    7/ Scrappers 2
    8/ Settlers at Play
    9/ From Sanctuary to Concord
    10/ Jampads 2
    11/ Tech Settlements
    12/ Junk Town 2
I currently have 1/ (and of course SS2/Workshop Framework).
Could you please clarify if I also need 2/ -> 12/ installed before using your city plan ?

Thank you for sharing your creation with us, and merry holidays.

If you want all the plots to look how I intended, you need the others. (That's if you have "designer's choice" on when choosing the city plan, which it is on by default.) I chose each plot specifically to fit in well with the room it's in. However, your game will function fine if you don't have them, it'll just choose another building plans for the missing plots.

I highly endorse all the SS2 add-on packs though. If you're downloading other city plans you almost certainly will need most of the add-on packs at some point and they really add some extra flavour to Sim Settlements 2.

Enjoy! Let me know if there are issues.

I'm still in the process of building my mod list, but with enough progress to begin looking into city plans now, so your advice is helpful.

I'm not going to deny it's a rather steep cost (in matters of additional mods for the game engine to handle) but Vault 88 is going to be one of my major settlements, so I want it to look good and feel right as a vault settlement specifically. As you said, I'll probably find other uses for the addons if they're well done.

I just don't like to install mods, start a game and not know what to expect, so I appreciate your reply.

      Please have a nice day/evening.

      I'm honoured. :)

It definitely makes sense to question your mod list. It does seem like a lot more to ask the game to do, but most of the add-ons themselves are small and I've never heard of them causing problems in themselves. (Plus SS2 itself lets you add or remove add-ons mid-game with no issues to your save file... though as always it's usually better to just leave things.)

I changed the order that I listed them on the description page to be most important first.

      Thanks!

Doesnt work. It needs to be a json file for transfer settlements to import it.

You need SS2 and thus Workshop Framework.

Late to the party but just started to use Sim Settlement 2 and now your Vault city plan.

So far i have only the first level of buildings, so can't say anything yet about the look of the vault in final stage, but i have to thank you for the many turrets on the roof.
I'm at the quest line for the Phoropter and needed Uranium,, without the turrets the radscorpions in the north-east tunnel would have eaten me alive. I pulled them back to the turrets and puff gone :)

oh, one question... where is the city planer table, after i activated the city plan ? Can't find it anywhere, also no overseer table or so. A little help would be nice :)

It should be in the overseer's office (hard left second floor when you enter the atrium). I'm working on redoing much of this city plan to update it for sanitation plots and other rebalanced SS2 things. I hope the new version will work better overall.

Why no use of vault power and water? Could spare some space

Honestly, because during my testing it was very random whether the power & water showed up at all. Especially power! I can't tell you how many hundreds of hours I spent trying to fix power. Water worked better than power, but if you hadn't cleared out that cave section, the city plan wouldn't upgrade/have enough water unless I had water included. So that's why I decided it that way.

I wasn't able to make use of this vault because of the massive amounts of turrets stacked on roof. game went down to a crawl with that many turrets. defence is 5000 but CTD because of low fps.. I was barely able to revert back to a vanilla state and recover after this mod.

Yikes. I will definitely make a version without the turret spam. Sorry!

Very nice design of Vault 88. I'm a Paxil-addled OCD'er and I couldn't come up with anything close to what you've done. Can't wait to see what it looks like in its final form.

I may change a few things around if possible, in changing out a few municipal plots to support HQ with power and water sharing agreements, But who knows, you might have thought of that too and it's in the final design. But that's just  a personal play style decision,  considering how much power and water your design generates, even at L0.

Your design looks solid and flawless. If you managed to design that layout and not have any electrical dead zones, considering how many countless sleepless nights I spent designing and redesigning that friggin' vault, I'll never be touching that vault again. I'll be using your mod exclusively from here on out. Voted up, Endorsed, and donation sent.

Thank you very much! And OMG, I had so many power issues, I can't tell you how many times I had to completely start over, and how I spent hundreds of hours on this thing. (And have probably a thousand save files at various stages.) It is seriously the most annoying settlement to work in. :x

That's a great point about the excess power/water and sharing with HQ... I only recently got HQ in my game, so I haven't tested it, but if I make any big changes I'll release an update to this! I'm using my playthrough as a thorough test for all my city plans. But I also get tired of *only* playing Fallout so every few months I take a break to play other games... thus it's taking me forever to do.

Thank you so much for your feedback, endorsement, and donation! I really appreciate it.

even this one isnt working for me... nothing is shwing and cleared out the whole area, i add the mods required for this mod and nothing.. can i make a request on doing a vanilla version?

could the mod Vault 88 station cleanup and ex. be causing it not to show up?

Yeah, it sounds like there might be a conflict. Try a test save without that mod, or try changing your load order. Sorry, I don't know much about these things, but good luck. :)

I downloaded this, as well as the recommended add-ins. I just put all of the .esl files in my load order, with all of the other .esl files I have (with no particular priority among them) expecting that should suffice. Can anyone confirm this, or should one particular .esl be placed before another?

is recommended mods and addon packs really required? i tend not to download too many mods to screw out with my current save files.

    really nice city plan tho!

edit: why is the place so dark?
