Mentioned by JuiceHead & MxR:

To start the quest, head West of the Wicked Shipping Fleet Lockup, Eli will be in the wilderness with his camp set up.
Recommended level to start this quest is 8 - 10, best on a new/clean save. This is meant to be an early/mid-game quest.
This mod adds a door to the Forgotten Church and an NPC to the shipwreck East of Spectacle Island, any mods that edit these cells may not be compatible or need a patch.
The friendly NPCs in this mod are Essential and cannot be killed. This is done purposely to not break the quest/immersion.
No DLC or any other mod requirements.
Upon quest completion, Eli will be available as a companion that can be used with modded and vanilla companions. He will say things during combat and when asked about his thoughts.
Eli's speech check for more caps may be buggy/not work, it may have to do with his companion quest after the main quest is complete. Should work, but looking for indefinite fix.
When greeting Eli and Gawonii for the first time, there should be music tracks playing. If you don't hear them try reloading before you meet them. Would not recommend this in the new worldspace to avoid brown face bugs.
Take advantage of all the content in Eli's camp and the underground player home.

Recommended mods to use with this mod:
Classic Holstered Weapon System - This makes equipped weapons visible, and adds to Eli's Aesthetic
Unbogus Health Scaling & Create Your Own Difficulty - Makes hostile NPCs more believable, quest is still challenging at high levels
