About this mod
A simple mod to change the orange/yellow/brown rust on the Winterised Power Armors to gray, and tone down the rust marks to make it look a little more freshly painted.
- Permissions and credits
This mod changes the palette texture used by the Winterised material mod in the armor workbench, by adjusting and desaturating parts of the palette i made the rust and dirt appear gray rather than brown and made the rust and dirt is less obvious. The effect overall is to make the Winterised coating look cleaner, somewhat like the Military Paint coating, it looks like it has been applied recently and kept clean.
It will conflict with any other mods which change the palette file.
The change effects the T-45, the T-60 and the X-01 armors. It will also effect the T-51, but i have not adjusted the palette used by the T-51 specifically, so currently in version 1.0 it will look glitchy if used with the T-51 armor.
No other paints or materials should be effected, just the Winterised material mod.
Installation
Download and extract the contents to your Fallout 4 Data folder. Or use NMM.
Uninstallation
Remove the file called "PA_palette_d" from Fallout 4 > Data > Textures > Actors > Powerarmor. Or use NMM.
It will conflict with any other mods which change the palette file.
