About this mod

A cluttered and functional home using vanilla objects and objects from home builder.
This blueprint features 340 objects.
Home plate now has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room, a hallway, a medium seized workshop and a (optional) attic.

I tried to transform Home Plate into something unique and good looking, while keeping the home as functional as possible.
All by all, this is a really cluttered home plate with a lot to see.

  • First of all I divided the house in 6 different sections
  • Entering the front door you will be brought inside the living room, which doubles as a hall and kitchen.
  • In the kitchen I chose a stove that can be used for cooking, instead of the more visually pleasing modern kitchen furniture.
  • Upstairs is the bedroom. This bedroom is fully functional and everything in it can be seen, but you can't enter the bedroom. I had to choose this height so the room underneath could still be used for something else. The space underneath functions as a laundry room. There is also plenty of storage options behind the stairs.
  • The living room and workshop has been divided by a small hall where you can place some magazines and it also connects to a small bathroom.
  • The workshop features a chem station, armor workshop, weapon workshop and two power armor stations. Many small/medium weapon racks too!
  • Finally the attic has a bit of random stuff I found looked cool there.

Important:
-This uses slot 70. Blueprint is called Frost_plate.
-Scrap everything and disable the two lightbulbs through console.
-Look at the last 4 images at least. Reconnect the fusion box wires after import and optionally remove the light hanging over armor workshop.

-The bike sometimes gets imported before the floor does. Since the bike isn't a static object, it will fall down. No idea how to change order of loading with transfer settlement imports (if possible at all), so you might want to place a new bike there using home maker. In workshop go to home maker>decoration>VehicleMisc.

This is my first blueprint so there are a few 'issues' I didn't find a way to work around.

  • I suck at cable management. I tried to move a lot underground, but some cables might look a bit off.
  • I wanted to use vanilla items only, but inside home plate one can't build walls and stairs without a mod (as far as I know). I decided to use homemaker. Which is fairly popular.
