Disclaimer: This may- or may not work for you. It is a fairly extreme/harsh treatment of Sanctuary. But....... It has worked well for me over several years, several (re)installations of Fallout 4. And more builds of Sanctuary than I care to think of. You - probably- will see ghost versions of the original houses from a distance when approaching on foot.
Sanctuary Scrapped and Saved:
Just a couple of vanilla saves I made for myself to keep things simple the next time I start a new game.
Unpack and dump into your save games folder. Usually situated in “this computer/documents/my games/Fallout4”
Scrapped everything but the roads. Picket fences and privet hedges are gone. Most of the debris/branches. But I left the grass mounds. Some of them hide some hideous gaps.
Fresh out of the vault I talked to Codsworth and looted the place – including the root cellar. That’s all. The loot will be either in their pockets or in the workbench.
I also added a couple of perks I find useful for building at the beginning of the game.
For changing the face you can use console “slm 14” and have fun. Use LooksMenu for added versatility.
For changing S.P.E.C.I.A.L and perks the easy way to go is using the Console commands found in the paragraph pertaining “Stats and character manipulation”. Be sure to read the manual to get the right commands.
You just MIGHT try using “showspecialmenu” for changing the SPECIAL points. But I’ve had problems doing that.
One thing I HAVE done – several times- is using the “showspecialmenu” for changing the name. But only that. Your next save will appear under that new name.
