    Version 1.2 is up! Here's what's changed:

    9/22/2022 - 1.2a

    Fixed an oversight in the Super Atomic Laser Gun's enchantment. It hadn't been set to be Detrimental, meaning it would heal targets whenever it procced instead of killing them as intended.

    > Fixed an issue in the ammo regen script that caused it to wig out and delete all of the gun's ammo, then break the regeneration functionality.

    > Removed an unnecessary vanilla cubemap that had managed to sneak into the file archives

    > Added an NPC ammo list to the gun so NPCs can actually use the damn thing if they spawn with it.

    Awesome gun but can you make it so it doesnt recharge? I'm not into waiting for things LOL

      The recharging is kind of the point of the gun, since the gun in NOLF recharged its shots and I wanted to maintain accuracy to the source material (though not with 100% accuracy, because in NOLF it had only one shot and took a second to recharge that shot, which I felt wouldn't have fit well with Fallout's more hectic combat loop). If you're waiting around for the whole clip to recharge before firing again, you don't need to; you can still fire while it's recharging but obviously if you're low on available shots, you'd want to use those shots wisely or take a moment behind cover to let it juice up a bit, or switch to a different gun. Not to mention, you can make it recharge faster by upgrading the Gyroscopic Collimator, which also gives you more shots. By default it charges a shot every 2 seconds, but each Collimator upgrade reduces that by half a second, with the final Collimator upgrade bringing the recharge time to half a second.

      This is Fallout though not NOLF , can you at least make a version that doesnt recharge? That way you can have your version and a version other people can use without complaint

      There have been recharging weapons in Fallout before, so it's not like this is terribly out of place. I'll think about it, though. If more people would like a non-rechargeable version I'll put more consideration towards it.

    This gun is awesome! It's such a nice callback to a truly timeless classic... Maybe you can fix the reload animation problem by using the "no clip" legendary effect?

      It's already set up like that. All the "unlimited ammo" legendary really does is set the clip size to 0, making it shoot straight from the reserve without ever needing to reload. But, because the H.A.R.M laser regenerates ammo by adding it one "bullet" at a time, the game just puts it straight into the reserve instead of the clip. You don't need to reload when you have that ammo in the reserve, though, since it'll automatically shunt into the "clip" when you burn through what's in it.

      Oh I see... Would you be willing to do other NOLF guns? How about an alien blaster replacement version of this?

      I don't plan on making this a replacer for the Alien Blaster, or other vanilla guns, replacers aren't really something I like to do. I do have plans to do other NOLF guns, at least those not covered by other mods since a majority of the guns in the game are based on real-life guns, like the Shepherd Arms P38 is a Walther P38, and the Hampton Carbine is actually the De Lisle carbine. I did do the Bacalov Corrector, but as a unique in my T/C Contender mod.

    could you make a patch to where its not included in LL? i just think it would look nice as a unique weapon for the mechanist. in my mind, really fits her style and her style only

    I Just wanted to let you know that Vortex tries to completely overwrite the main mod with the patch file since the name of the patch esp. is the same as the  main esp. I have gone in and renamed the patch esp and told vortex to load the file after the main, but I haven't tested it yet.

      Vortex is pretty bad when it comes to ESP only updates. The patch ESP is meant to overwrite the main file ESP, but Vortex treats mod updates as basically a complete replacement for the mod it's updating, so that results in ESP-only updates screwing things up because Vortex replaces the entire mod with that ESP-only version. There might be a way to get it to not do that, but I wouldn't know how since I don't use Vortex. I'm not sure how well things will go with two "complete" ESPs running together, you might end up with objects placed by the mod getting doubled up. Might be better off manually downloading the update and dropping its ESP into the folder Vortex installed the main mod to, and letting the update ESP overwrite the ESP that's there.

      The patch esp file looked smaller than the orginal so I didn't think that it was meant to replace the main file's esb. Thanks for that detail.

      The patch file is smaller since it's just the ESP and doesn't include the BA2 archives. I always do an ESP-only update if the bug(s) I fixed were only in the ESP and not with the assets, since I don't feel it's necessary to reupload the whole mod just for corrections in the ESP, especially if it's just a single (albeit important) correction. I can clarify things a bit more in the file description on the hotfix, though I dunno if Vortex even shows the file descriptions.

      Yeah, still at it, just slow going with my projects. No one had reported the Super Atomic Laser Gun healing people, so I had no idea it was an issue until I stumbled across the patch you'd made.

    one I'd love to see done, based on your Henry Repeating Rifle and the fact that you make some weapons featured on Forgotten Weapons, is the Bullard Large Frame Repeating/Lever Rifle.

    Amazing mod! I tried it out on xbox and now that I have my own PC I can use this among some other mods to complete my Wasteland Mandalorian character lol!

    You actually figured out how to make a recharger weapon in fallout 4! I've been trying to figure that out forever. And it looks amazing too!
