it looks like the bodyslide for this is thinner than all the other bodyslide files? When I build it and take off the suit, the armor pieces I am wearing fit within reason, but when i wear the body there are larger gaps than when naked. It's like the reference is off or just different from all my other armor mods.
edit: oh apparently my preset wasn't associated with the outfit in bodyslide so it wasn't building the outfit
uh well i definitely built it right this time but this outfit is still extremely smaller than all the others
I ran into the same problem. It turns out the size of the suit is actually correct but it changes the sizes of other armor parts when equipped because it has BodyData attached. Deleting the BodyData section in FO4Edit fixes it.
I'm so confused, this mod does have no underarmor scaling in the esp, but it still gets scaled regardless. I messed around with the slots too, and it still gets scaled. What gives?
The suit is updated on the armor improvement machine, modification methods are not displayed, after which you cannot exit the machine, only by restarting the save.
Showing my mom some of this game and she wanted a new outfit for her character, so I got her this mod. However, the in-game textures and colors are nothing like what you're showing in the images here. I wanted the classy, clean colors in the posted images, and the much more basic colors we got are kind of disappointing. Did I install it wrong? What am I missing, what will get me what your images show?
Just some advice. Be upfront with the crafting requirements of your outfits. Armor 4 + Science 4 + what ever other perks the limited perkreq display space allotment isn't showing is a major time investment for any item. It is rather disingenuous of you not to present it upfront for us to assess before we burn data to download a mod that ends up being a waste of memory.

I must agree. In real life I've made shoes, leather armor, and clothes by hand, and it took minimal skill and technical knowledge, it was just time-consuming. I'm not sure why you'd need science at all, until you get to the mods where science perks make sense.
Fortunately it was a 30 minute fix to open the CK, find all the items and recipes, and make changes that made sense to me: Armorer 1 and Science 1 for crafting the items, get rid of the perk requirements for crafting some colors, and adding lining and legendary mod slots where they were not already present.
Having said that, none of the above comments should be interpreted as disparaging the excellent modeling work that went into this mod.
It does seem illogical considering that creating the base items always needs the least amount of resources and modifying it is very the higher requirements come in. In this case, that logic is backwards. Having four levels of Armorer and Science is overdoing it for an outfit that doesn't offer appropiate stats, meaning most people would either use console to get it. CK or FO4Edit can help thankfully.
When I like a mod and want it, but it has ridiculous crafting requirements... good 'ol console, help <name> 4 armo (in this case) and player.additem. Bam, it's mine. Sure, it's not immersive, nor is it satisfying vs. crafting it, but I won't try and waste my precious perks on one outfit/armor if I do not need those perks/feel they are sensible. Just my opinion, YMMV.
