This is not for Sim Settlements 2

Sim Settlements is a great mod but what if you don't want to do the work to level up the settlements or what if you don't want to use the sim part of Sim Settlements at all? In either case this mod here can help you. Here you can find exports of all Sim Settlements Level 3 (max level) settlements using both Transfer Settlements and Workshop Framework. This can also help those who have a city that stopped upgrading or those who experience frequent crashes in Sim Settlements settlements.

Requirements

1. Mod Configuration Menu
2. Sim Settlements Three-in-One
3. Sim Settlements - Conqueror
4. Workshop Framework
5. Transfer Settlements (if using to fix crashing)
6. Some settlements require specific DLC

Installing this mod

1. If you've used Transfer Settlements before check Fallout 4\Data\F4SE\Plugins\TransferSettlements\blueprints for any blueprints in slots 1-33. If they exist rename their folders to numbers 34 and higher. When enabled this mod will take over slots 1-33.
2. Install with mod manager. Click the Download with Manager Button and then activate it in your mod manager.

How to use this to cheat a city to Level 3

1. Visit the settlement in question
2. Using the Transfer Settlements Holotape nuke the settlement (and marked based objects) or using the Town Meeting Gavel scrap the settlement. Everything built in the settlement will be deleted.
3. Using the Transfer Settlements Holotape import the settlement with all the options ticked or using the Workshop Framework Manage Settlement menu (press space on workbench) build the layout. If importing with Workshop Framework see the Import Layout Options in the MCM under Workshop Framework > Framework Controls before starting the import to set your options. I recommend you turn Spawn NPCs and Spawn Power Armor off.
4. Wait for it to finish. If you are brought to the Workshop Menu don't exit it and don't leave the settlement while importing. If when importing with Workshop Framework you get stuck at 99% fast travel elsewhere then come back.
5. When done save your game, it will take longer to save than normal.
6. Travel to Home Plate or another isolated cell and wait for three days.
7. You can now go back to the settlement and assign settlers and whatnot.

How to use this to stop crashing in settlements (requires Transfer Settlements)

I've been through two installs, two save games, two almost completely different computer hardware configurations and I've followed any helpful tips I could find online to stop crashing to desktop when walking through Sim Settlements settlements but I still continued to crash at an unplayable rate. After importing a Sim Settlement I had exported using Transfer Settlements without the Sim Settlements plots and buildings I found that I didn't crash in the settlement anymore and my framerate in the settlement went up a lot. Turns out the scripting used for the Sim Settlements plots and buildings was causing the crashing and was hurting the framerate quite a bit. By not using Sim Settlements plots and buildings you won't have any of the 'sim' features of the mod and will really only get the barebones settlement to build on top of but your game will also stop crashing and your framerate will go up. These barebones settlements are still really neat and fit in nicely with the vanilla game with their custom models and such which is why I took the time to make this.

1. Visit the settlement in question. If you are crashing too much try traveling somewhere adjacent and walking there while staring at the ground.
2. Using the Transfer Settlements Holotape nuke the settlement (and marked based objects). Everything built in the settlement will be deleted.
3. Using the Transfer Settlements Holotape import the settlement with all the options ticked except for any Sim Settlements options.
4. Wait for it to finish. If you are brought to the Workshop Menu don't exit it and don't leave the settlement while importing.
5. When done save your game, it will take longer to save than normal.
6. Travel to Home Plate or another isolated cell and wait for three days.
7. You can now go back to the settlement and assign settlers and whatnot. This settlement won't have any Sim Settlements features so make sure to meet your settlers needs by giving them beds etc.

FAQ

Q: Why did you make this?
A: I loved the design of the settlements included in Sim Settlements but for one reason or another just couldn't play without crashing when using them.

Q: Does this support Sim Settlements 2?
A: No, Sim Settlements 2 is an entirely separate mod from the first one.

If you enjoy this mod please endorse it! Thanks =)
