This is the way fixing radio freedom malfunctioning through console commands, not an actual mod.

Many others suffered the same issue that the radio guy in The Castle never return to his post, leaving the radio freedom/artillery out of order (forever).
This known issue is currently determined by at least 2 events, causing the minuteman leaving his seat. First, the enemy attacks. And the second, ringing the stupid bell. My case is the second one.. LOL
My way to fix this, is opening console (by the key "~"), clicking on the radio itself, and input "setpv bAllowPlayerAssignment 1". on the minuteman, "setpv bCommandable 1"
By doing this, commanding him to use the radio is now possible, at least in my case. If it doesn't work for you, some people suggested: try fast traveling from afar, however I don't see the point.
