One of my mods bugged the "one unit of ammunition is infinite" rule for my settlers. They would shoot the single round and then start using their fists. I tried giving them all infinite companion ammunition but that didn't work. I could use some help for this by setting the ammunition invisible and non-lootable.
Installation:
Place "settlerammo.txt" in your Fallout 4 executable directory.
Use:
Open the Console
Type "bat settlerammo"
Press the enter key.
You may have to re-lock one of the inventory items so the NPC does not start wandering around naked.
