I would love to see a version with a tad more consistency in the way of the overall system.
a wooden spoon shouldn't give you anything (for example). its all built on the idea of what's collected and what it can supply, if a wooden wall takes 10 wood, then I don't think 10 wooden spoons should be able to make a wooden wall.
Also when scrapping, your yield would be lower than actual and when building it would be higher than actual. extracting would create loss especially with non pliables like wood and then when building things would have to be cut away etc. I know I'm over thinking but the spoon example bugs me lol
Agreed, but there's no way to be totally realistic. If a Wooden Spoon yields nothing for scrapping, then the item may as well not exist. But if it has to yield at minimum 1 unit of wood, then scrapping wooden shelving units and bedframes should yield dozens of Wood.
Though both with the mod and vanilla, crafting something almost universally consumes more resources than scrapping, scrapping gives you 50% of the crafting costs, rounded down. I can't think of anything that works differently.
It should still work, yes. But it doesn't change what you can scrap, only their yield and only vanilla objects. So if a leaf pile can't be scrapped in the vanilla game, this mod will have no effect on it.
Hi, great mod but one small problem, the Wakemaster clock change was a little off. I actually had one of the clocks it is emulating when I was little (yes age telling). It did not have circuits, it was just a windup clock with radium in the dial hands and numbers to make it glow in the dark.
Honestly that I do not remember, It originally belonged to my grandfather, he gave it to me one summer vacation. I remember him explaining why it glowed all night, and mom being mad about the "radioactive clock", But it was not enough to be dangerous. However, it would most certainly be enough to scrape into glow sights. :D
You can see that I have translated your very interesting mod and uplñoaded the translation.
Also, I have done some modifications (only for my use, for the moment): I added the [Scrap] tag to all items and I set all to have 0 weight, for use with the FallUI item sorter mod (weightless version).
As these require alteration of your mod, I would like to ask for your approval to upload.
I actually think the TV components are fairly reasonable - circuitry, glass, aluminum, steel, and wood sounds about right. Maybe some copper but I think it's okay.

Best wishes,
What do you think about TV sets materials ? Should they give more variety of materials from scrapping ?

I have scrapping mods and such installed and this has no conflicts with anything as far as I can tell.
