All of the records in this mod's plugin are unique (not vanilla overwrites) and are not referenced by anything (nothing in the game or the plugin is using these values). The mod also contains no scripts or anything else that could possibly be instructing the game to refer to the new records. Looks like they uploaded the wrong plugin.
Hello! I play with a game pad! I been looking around for a while and also tried several mods and i changed my speedmult to 38, which is my desired walking speed when I push the left stick all the way up. Sometimes even I need to run, or jog. For example when I have to get back out of a large building or something. When I push down the left stick I start sprinting which feels like ludicrous Speed. All I want is to decrease the sprinting Speed. So I opened FO4edit and changed several movement type values. Down until 0.1! No changes. Some help would be very much appreciated.
I want to use this mod and raw mouse input mod together, unfortunately they conflict a little. The author for Raw input said movement mods will conflict but it was an easy patch. May I request that either you or someone make a patch for raw mouse input or at least tell me how to patch the two.
Edit: Never mind I found a mod called immersive fallout that changes multiple things including reducing movement speed and has a patch for raw input so i'm using that instead. Might still be helpful to some one else though if there was a patch for this mod, because immersive fallout really cuts down the speed of the player and some might prefer the speed in this mod.
Open FO4Edit and change the Movement Types however you like. They are labeled poorly at times, but I was able to change my sneak/sights/walk and run per weapon type etc. I felt like I was on acid with the default "run" and the default "walk" was more like a stroll. Oh, and bonus sprint with weapons holstered. The settings in this mod are just a port from Skyrim or something, I didn't test them when I saw Horse. DIY so it's right for you.
uh... got distracted from fallout for a bit. Under "Movement Type" in editor there are a dozen or more entries, mostly with _mt in them somewhere.
Some are poorly labeled, some aren't, like Player_Pistol_MT and Player_Default_MT. Some say NPC but effect the player.
Each has entries for walk - (direction), run - (direction), and other things like sprint, yaw, pitch.
so for Player_Default_MT and Player_Pistol_MT for example I increased walk to 125 right/left, 175 forward and 75 backwards. Run I decreased to 225/225, 300 and 150.
The annoyance is that all weapons have their own MT (and power armor has several of its own). Some seemed to conflict like sneak/sighted. Obviously it was impossible to precisely measure speed, but I certainly moved at different speeds in different directions and with different weapons. The default 'pistol' speeds are 100.76 walk and 359.54 run (in all directions), so you can see it takes fairly large numbers to bridge the gap and make alterations. Try out a substantial change to something and see for yourself. Maybe I'm just delusional.
from memory... Player_Default - Holstered Player_Pistol - Pistols Player_BigGun - miniguns Player_ShoulderMounted - Rocket Launcher NPC_Gun - Rifles NPC_Sighted - down the barrel NPC_sneaking - Sneak
Player_melee - ? Player_1hm - knives? Player_2hm - clubs and such? I wasn't using melee much...
I don't know about you guys...I always play in 1st person and walking is more like a power walk, not normal. I would never walk that fast. If anything, the walk speed needs to slow down, no t speed up. Sneaking, I always have to hold my stick back (I use an Xbox controller) to sneak slower. I would be more interested in a mod that slowed the walk down. The run speed is about right, however.

This mod literally does nothing.
