About this mod

This tweaks the power conduits and similar so they consume power to run TVs, Lights, etc

Have you noticed how those little devices don't use up power from your generators, or been annoyed that every wiring mount uses up precious copper even if you aren't using it to power your TVs.  That is why I built this mod.

The first thing it does is retroactively replace the vanilla Power Conduits you have around your town with a new object called a Power Connector requiring no copper to build with the loss of the radius of power being put out. Second, it adds back the buildable Power Conduit but adds 1 unit of power as a requirement to hook into the grid thus creating a cost to add lights, TVs, etc.

NOTE: I decided it would be a good idea to replace the Conduits with Connectors as most well connected towns would immediately require 50 units of power or more to simply run the Conduits already there. I thought this was easier for player adjustment after installing the mod.

Companion Mods:
Tiered Generators - Add 21 new generators (replacing the vanilla ones) to the game that require Perks to unlock adding progression and choice to settlement growth. The higher tiered generators provide a significant gain in energy output which is put to use in the other companion mods.
Tiered Water - Add 15 new water pumps (replacing the vanilla ones) to the game that require Perks to unlock. These pumps require varying degrees of power and will rely on higher power output from Tiered Generators or other mods to run.

[INSTALLING]
Just download the mod with your favorite mod manager and install it.

KNOWN BUG: Until you move your devices they don't recognize this update so they will stay powered even though there is no emitter nearby. I don't have an easy fix for this due to the way the powered devices update their state. You have to go around, pick it up, and then press tab to put it back down where you got it. Sorry for that inconvenience and as soon as I find a better answer, it will be added but I don't see one right now.
