About this mod

SCMBoost = Semi-immersive crafting material boost.
Adds a scrapable item, that when scrapped, gives some of each kind of crafting materials.

Changelogs
Semi-immersive crafting material boost adds a stone to each settlement.
When it is scrapped you will receive an amount of each of the crafting materials in the game.

This gives a slight boost in materials for crafting or building with, when taking over a settlement without using bat files, or individual console commands making it more "immersive" or semi-immersive if you prefer. (more on the immersive aspect later)

It does not respawn, can not be looted, and can only be scrapped once. This ensures that you can only get them if you own the settlement.
This helps stop the "get for nothing" feel somewhat, as well as sending what little caps at start you have on over priced materials.

Terminal found in workshop menu - power - misc
With this crafted you can buy materials anytime, as long as you have the caps to do so.

Now I said I'd get to the immersive, or semi-immersive aspect of it, so let me explain.

When I 1st played and scrapped Sanctuary I always wondered why I couldn't just grab the few things in the surrounding area that were just laying there.
I mean who would let that perfectly usable material just laying there right outside your camp right. Then my son said something similar and asked if I could figure out a mod to scratch that itch so to speak. So I got to work. This mod simulates that you did just that, and grabbed those things. The amount of the material you get from the stone in each settlement corresponds to the surrounding area of the settlement.

For 2 examples:

1= At Somerville Place you'll get more wood, concrete, etc from your surrounding then say Warwick Homestead.

2= At home plate you'll get very little as everyone in Diamond city have already looted the place, yet there is sure to still be at least something in and around the stands etc.

Nothing is under the amount of 5, or over the amount of 100. This is to stop this mod from being a run of the mill cheat mod. I do not mind multiplying the numbers by 3 or even up to 5 times, but only if there is a call for it

That's why I call it semi-immersive, because even though it is more immersive than console commands or bat files, you are still getting something you shouldn't from a stone. Plus with the vending machine it balances quite nice.

Q: Why did you make this when there's many other mods to get materials from?
A: Because my son asked for it, so I learned to mod and made it. Simple as that.

Q: Will you place them in places that other mods added a settlement?
A: I suppose I could. I would have to know which mod, to know where I can place it. There is already one such place in this mod now, for those like me that use a mod that makes Fizztop Grille a buildable settlement. it just sits there on a shelf like other static things for non users.

Q: Can you make the amount of materials you get in the thousands?
A: NO.  It's not meant to be a run of the mill cheat mod. 1000 is as high as I'll go, and all amounts wouldn't be set to that. For example right now min amount is 5 and max is 100. So min would be 50 and max would be 1000 in the upped amounts. you wouldn't get all materials at 1000.
