About this mod

I really like the Galaxy Pipboy Texture that curtislee1994 made, but the issue is that the mod overwrites every Pipboy in the game which breaks immersion for me, so I decided to fix this issue. What this mod does is it takes the Galaxy Pipboy texture and adds an armour crafting recipe to it so that only your PIpboy has the texture applied to it.

I kind of got carried away and added some new textures and made a glowing version of the mod. There are 6 versions of this mod. The first on is the most simple all it does is add a crafting recipe to the original texture. The second version changes the glowing red buttons on the Pipboy to cyan. The third version adds a glowmap to the texture. The fourth version is the same as the third version except the glowing red buttons on the Pipboy to cyan. The fifth version adds a glowmap to the texture and also changes the colour for several parts of the Pipboy. The sixth version is the most extravagant, it is the same as the fifth version but it changes the glowing red buttons on the Pipboy to cyan. You will need the original mod to use this mod. 

I also made it so that when you have this texture equipped you gain a +1 increase to Charisma and Intelligence.

Instillation: 
Manual: 1.) Download the mod
      2.) Navigate to your data folder and then drag and drop the mod to the data folder.
      3.) Next locate you textures folder and add a new folder called GalaxyPipboy
      4.) Within the GalaxyPipboy folder create another folder called Pipboy
      3.) Again you will need the original mod to use this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1459?tab=files
      4.) It is really important that you follow the next steps carefully because if you don't you will run into problems. First you need to download the            original mod MANUALLY, if you use NMM you will have to fish for the files.
     5.) Once you have MANUALLY downloaded the original mod open the zip folder and extract the textures folder to your desktop.
     6.) Now open the folder you just extracted to your desktop, then open the animobjects folder within the same folder, next open the pipboy folder    within the aforementioned animobjects folder
     7.) Next you need to rename some of the files
     8.) Rename pipboy01_d.dds to: GalaxyPipBoy01_d.dds
     9.) Rename pipboy02_d.dds to: GalaxyPipBoy02_d.dds
    10.) If you don't want to change the colour of the glowing red buttons on the Pipboy to cyan rename pipboyglow01_d.dds to                                                  GalaxyPipboyGlow01_d.dds. If you DO want to change the colour of the glowing buttons to cyan just delete pipboyglow_d.dds. 
    (Make sure you downloaded the cyan glowing buttons version of this mod.)
    11.) Next rename pipboylabels01_d.dds to: GalaxyPipBoyLabels01_d.dds
    12.) Delete pipboyscreendust01_d.dds, this is an irrelevant file for this mod, all this file does is give the Pipboy a dusty screen when you first find it in             Vault 111, but this texture will no longer be applied when you find the Pipboy so you don't need to worry about it.
    13.) Now that you have renamed the files, add all the renamed files to the GalaxyPipboy folder that you just made.
    14.) Congratulations you're done.

NMM: 1.) Just download the mod via NMM.
   2.) Follow steps 3 through 14 for the manual download. (it looks like a lot, but it's really not that bad.)

Uninstillation:
Manual: 1.) Locate your textures folder within your data folder.
       2.) Next open the textures folder and delete the GalaxyPipboy folder.
       3.) Go back to your data folder and locate: GalaxyPipBoyPatch - Main.ba2, GalaxyPipBoyPatch - Textures.ba2, and GalaxyPipBoyPatch.esp, and              delete them all.
NMM: 1.) Just right click the mod and choose uninstall.
   2.) Next open the textures folder and delete the GalaxyPipboy folder.

You might be wondering why this mod comes with an empty folder to put looses files in. This is due to the fact that my mod is essentially a patch for a texture mod and that means that I am using the same textures from a different mod. I could include these textures with the textures ba2 file containing the textures I actually worked on, but I don't want to plagiarise so you will have to get some of the textures by downloading the original mod, it know it means you have to do more work, and I am truly sorry but there's not really anything I can do, the original mod was made 4 years ago and has not been updated since, so I highly doubt that the author is responding to messages anymore. 

You might notice if you use this Pipboy skin and you go to a vault and open it with your Pipboy the plug changes colour, thats because the animation to open vaults uses a different mesh, to fix this issue you can download the plug patch I made for this mod. All you have to do is either use NMM to download the mod, or if you manually download the mod just drop the animobjects folder into your meshes folder found in your data folder. This will overwrite the Pipboy plug so only use it when you are using the skin that comes with the main part of this mod, if you want to uninstall this patch, or you are no longer using this mod, either use NMM to deactivate or delete this patch, or locate pipboyPlugAnimObject.nif within your meshes folder and remove or delete it. I don't know how to incorporate nif files into my mod and have them appear in the game, I have tried a bunch of things, but none of them worked so I have to do it this way, if you know how to do this then please let me know.

This mod took way longer than I though it was going to take, I am very new to modding and I had to learn how to use gimp to make this mod possible, as a result I am really tired and don't really want to do anything else on this mod, but if for example the Pipboy's glow is too bright for you I might be willing to make another dimmer version, just message me and as long as I am still playing this game I will do my best accommodate your request.
