Like others I had a problem with the FOMOD and We are minutemen patches. I found Vitriolic44's post about manual download and found the missing files. Since I didn't know what to do with those esp files and I on the MO2 discord. The solution was to copy the missing esps into the SimplySorting Patches MOD (Left Pain) and Refresh Plugins list. Feeling a bit c*cky, I decided I wanted to run the FOMOD so I could add mod patches in the future. Basically the problem is the FOMOD is looking for the files in sub-folder of where they are, factions\Minutemen - ONLY INSTALL ONE!\.
Here is what I did... At your own risk, be it ;-)
1. Manually Download file and extract into scratch folder 2. Open the file fomod\ModuleConfig.xml in text editor 3. Search for 'Minutemen - ONLY INSTALL ONE!\' (No quotes) and delete 4. Resulting in - <file source="Factions\SimplifiedSorting_<specific patch>.esp" as opposed to ...<file source="Factions\Minutemen - ONLY INSTALL ONE!\SimplifiedSorting_<specific patch>.esp" 5. Zip the files up - I named it the same as the download 6. In MO2, File > Install and select file and hopefully no more errors
Hi there, tested on Vortex, followed the steps above mentioned, and success -> one addition to step 3 - you have to delete "Minutemen - ONLY INSTALL ONE!\" in all lines, not a big deal, 10 lines I think.
This may be an obvious question, but what in simplified sorting needs a patch for sim settlements addons?? They seem like mods that edit completely different things. If I use simplified am I going to have to only choose sim settlements addons that have patches?
The patches will be to add sorting tags (icons) to the new items added by Sim Settlements. These patches are not essential in the sense that the mods will break without these patches. I have not played SS for a long time but it will be like the construction beacon things, and any holotapes the mod adds. E.g. Holotapes from SS will just sit in Misc without this patch, but with the patch they will be in holotape category (and have holotape icon).
Do I need to install Quest Tags to use these patches? I ask because the 1st step in the installation has 2 radio buttons, Quest Tags or Customizations + Quest Tags. No option if you don't have Quest Tags. Thanks
Hi. I realized that the dog armor icon isnĀ“t displayed in the crafting chem station. Could this be fixed? or could you tell me what should I edit? I was looking for the recipe name but I couldn't find it.
Hey! I've made a patch for Give Me That Bottle (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/13193), I made it using the "Frostifer" from here since it uses the same tags as SS and then went over the esp in xEdit and changed any items that weren't properly tagged.

Also, the Diamond City patch could have one edit for us radio icon users and TfTC has 5 radio stations. If you want that in your patches that is.

Actually, I'll drop the zip in #community-patches.
Feel free to add it to the page here, but until then if people want to grab it here's a link:
